ahh, so it very well may be the culprit! I asked my usual mechanic, and he guessed that a gasket would probably be the cause. so basically, you got to remove exhaust front pipe and dump, remove turbo, replace gasket + new studs yeah? doesnt sound like much, but it'd be a pretty legnthy job hey Ryan?

hey guys, after an opinion! under boost, my 25 is making a high pitched squeel - from area around the turbo; i'm thinking it may be exhaust/manifold leakage. I havent really investigated by removing bits and pieces under the bonnet yet, - i might take the heat shield off the std turbo tomorrow and have a geeze for any signs of soot and black crap. Anyone had this issue before?

Thats exactly what i had before i got my exhaust redone (before i sold it to ya). Its nice and calm sounding down low in the revs. As revs go up its not extremely loud but a very nice sounding scream

Didn't catch the Minx set last year; she's got a pretty good rep here in Adelaide with the OneLove type crowd. Do the other states get Dave Spoon? nothing unusual for us to miss out on a couple of artists... i'll start the day @ D-LUX and then James Curd <-- (from Greenskeepers [they played a live set at last years parklife]). Others to check out for me, if i remember to make it to all of em; Metro Area, Diplo, Plump DJs, jesse Rose, 2manyDjs, and Dizzee of course!

i thought the X-Force cats were pretty good & free flowing! I hadn't heard any bad feedback about them until now. From Wogans setup description, it is very similar to what i have (induction & flow wise).

coilpacks from what you've explained about the loss after 6k rpm, it sounds like coilpacks. Doubt it would be restrictive flow. Does it feel like a sort of miss firing?

for sure. everyone will flock to the Earth Stage like they did for the M.I.A set at the end of the night last year. i'll be there front dead centre for the Plump DJs, so hopefully i shouldnt need to move for Dizzee... Although i'd love to catch 2manydjs, they absolutely rocked it at the BDO a couple of years ago. always with the clashing set times these festivals!

what a pain! if its a test done in office at TSA you'll probably need to do it in business hours. But if its one of those practicals where you drive around, you shouldnt have a problem doing it on the weekend... you'll probably end up needing to go back to TSA to complete their bloody paperwork (in business hours) after you finish
