  1. I'm pretty sure i've read about a business called the 'thread doctor' or something like that. If i remember correctly, it was a mobile business where the guys come to you. I'm not sure what state it was in though!

  3. you're an ideas man Ryan! i'll chuck a pic up in the wasteland one of these next few days!
  4. hahaha for sure ay! i'm hell pleased with the little beast! 400 bucks well spent i tell ya! its even had a KE70 4K motor transplant!
  5. our recent talk of keybangers and locked diffs got me excited over the last couple of weeks Ryan; I purchased a new weapon over the weekend! a black KE55! hopefully get the mates around to help lock her up on the weekend! whilst i've got it, im going to sort some of my 33s little problems and imperfections out that are pissing me off -edit - and whilst at the mobil servo on Nth east Rd this evening, i was pulled up next to a white 33 4dr. Nice~!
  6. SOLD
  7. i use this one @ work:
  8. i'm pretty sure all they do is check the sound level with exhausts. You mightn't be keen, but you can stick a baffle plate between two flanges to shut it up a little. Mine got through by doing this. If you do use one, just make sure you drive like a granny and try and stay off boost as much as you can. With the diff, just try and ride the clutch when the car is in the inspection shed, so it doesnt lock and chirp the tyres.
  9. bout 45 mins ago i got overtaken by a blue R34 GTR in Athelstone on a road with 1 lane going both ways. Normally, i'd hurl some abuse, or salute the middle finger at people that do that! But f*&^; what a nice car! Sounded great too!
  10. I can not believe these clowns... they have no respect at all for others on the road. Absolute scrubbers... Good to hear you didnt cop any injuries mate. Shame about your daily though. Just another headache for ya
  11. seen a blue 34 GTR this morning with silver rims on newton rd. think the numberplate was BNR34
  12. now that aint a bad idea Steve! I wouldnt have a clue, but considering the media can film cops doing their biz, like locking people up at the end of pursuits; like those 2 clowns in the camry on currie St yesterday, one would think you might be able to do it just a thought -edit - but the media probably has exceptions somewhat...
  13. why did you get pulled over pauly? were you driving like a ratbag? you'll probably need to do everything that Brenton mentioned in his above post. i dont reckon you need worry about the rims, they'll just check that your tyres have a decent amount of tread. And even your exhaust... if you can cheekily shut it up so its under 90dB at around 3500rpm, they should pass it.
  14. awesome stuff! I'd love to produce! So many ideas in my head! But so little knowledge on using the above mentioned applications Deep house is what i mostly own & love (funked up & proggy!), and as of the last couple of years i've been getting into bits and pieces of minimal & techno. So i absolutely loved this mix you posted up Benny. It's gone straight onto the ipod for the bus ride to work! Pretty tight mixing too mate!
  15. The thing i taught myself over the years with buying vinyl; Choose Carefully! Buy stuff that wont live a short life. For keeping up with new tunes, digital is the G.O for sure mate! Cheap as f*&^; but if youre on a bit of a budget, good pioneer CDJ's are another decent expense
  16. Aboriginal / TSI.
  17. NE also mate! foot hills
  18. I have an elliptical stylus that I dont use - came with a pair of nice ortofon cartridges It'd probably do the job with a little extra weight behind it i reckon. Cant hurt to try; these things can be replaced!
  19. on the weekend i'll try to fix a couple of tunes i have that are scratched and the stylus skips over (using the suggestions in the link you posted earlier Steve) if i can get it playing smooth again, i'll let ya know!
  20. You're not wrong. When you compare the costs to vinyl, CDJs will pay for themselves eventually I'm a bit of a vinyl junkie, but i don't tend to buy new tunes in that format; only back catalogue stuff that you wont be able to find for sale digitally. And you can usually pick older tunes up for pretty reasonable prices too.
  21. Useful info in that link, cheers mate! So what were the weapons of choice for your mix Benny, CDJs?
  22. do you mean treating static Steve?
  23. im around the 30 minute mark atm; this mix is f**king quality benny. Youve got good taste mate
  24. should put some photos up here mate, guarunteed youll get more interest if not a quick sale.
