  1. Hey speaking of intercoolers; those kits for 33s you can get :- ISC, JJR, GReddy etc > do you need to replace the window washer bottle after installing the piping on a 33?
  2. Anyone remember the show on ABC, Bush mechnics? heheh... Bush drift!
  3. lol we seen her sinking piss at the footy last year - one of the port final games at AAMI
  4. Spotted a silver Stag parked in front of city holden on Grenfell st this morning. Looked nice
  5. Silvo you could get at bunnings, even supermarkets stock it i reckon. Autosol > Sprint Auto sells it
  6. Good work mate. I hope it all works out for ya's, and these dodgy buggers get ping'd
  7. thats it Silvo or Autosol! i reckon i polish mine about twice a year with the stuff, and they come out great and stay nice and clear!
  8. when you say whole front conversion Steve, do you mean L&R front panels, front bar & centre grill (and lights of course), or is there even more to it? s2 fronts do look pretty nice!
  9. Authorities can not help? or will not help? What do these guys sell? Rexy parts?
  10. all you need is a hot day! once a little section of the rubber shite has been scratched/peeled off somewhere on the surround, you can continue to peel it off from that area. On a hot day that stuff peels off like sunburnt skin! it actually looks great without the rubber shit. And after its off, if youre not happy with it; get it painted
  11. there should be 2 wires to get it working. One + power, and one - earth.
  12. before you get the car dyno'd, go to motor traders and buy 6x BCPR6ES-11 or BCPR7ES-11 NGK sparkys (which should cost you no more than $40), gap them to 0.7-0.8, install. Take your car for a drive. If it still has the problem, then book in for a dyno tune.
  13. what a fkn piss weak effort from port adelaide tonight
  14. what the f is FWIW?
  15. That is mad!!!!!! Engine note sounds nice
  16. like his rims but! they look tough!
  17. Yep, that fuse is in the boot. Check it out edit - and apparently that particular fuse for your tail lights is responsible for the lights in the dash too. Funny enough, i have this same problem. Although my taillights are fine. I just havent gotten around to taking my console surround off to get to the dimmer switch to investigate. Was driving along last night turned right at a set of traffic lights, and and the dash lights started working again...
  18. if you have one it should be located to the Right of your aircon controls and stereo. you'll need to take the front console surround off to check the wires etc.
  19. yeah hehe, you definitely take it off to do it, and shoot air inside it. youll be suprised at how much shit comes out (specially if its an exposed pod). I originally took it off so i could get to the AFM when i was suffering a misfire problem back in the day.
  20. haha thats pretty impressive but yes, ya wouldnt imagine it all lasting long...
  21. I've heard of several ways to clean filters > i.e soaking filter in petrol to remove junk, let it dry completely, then treat it with the air filter oil, re fit to car. <-- dont think id try it, though it cant hurt - only a filter after all. And the obvious other method is buying the cleaning kits. Maybe try searching the forums, and even google, youre bound to find an answer somewhere about the Blitz filter. I have the apexi pod filter that apparently doesent require maintenance - so ive never cleaned it - except for removing dust from the grooves with a compressed air gun. As for the black stuff spurting out the rear > is your car running a cat convertor? You'll generally find that exhaust soot will land itself on the rear of your car if the tip of your exhaust ends pretty close under your rear bumper. Mine sticks out quite a bit, so i never get soot on the bumper. It could be just caused by backfiring. Generally aint a problem mechanically.
  22. cant remember if they are the ones for the headlights, but there are fuses in the boot and under the bonnet that you should check also.
  23. Im not sure why you think rivets wont hold it when spot welds didnt? Its held on tight as with the rivets... If you smack the shit out of the bracket with a hammer it still probably wont come undone. As stated in early posts:- Spot welding this area is a c*&^ of a job. It is likely that this particular bracket would have been spot welded to the chassis at the very early stages of the cars assembly. i dont have access to a MIG or TIG setup - I wouldnt have even bothered asking on here if i had those readily available. They are piss easy to use, and would do a brilliant job re fastening this bracket without a doubt.
  24. looks bloody tough mate, nice car!
