  1. sounds like some pretty stubborn stuff. if none of the above methods posted will remove it, you might just have to use some sort of scraper eg a razor to remove it. very carefully of course so you dont damage the plastic!
  2. i reckon it wouldnt hurt to give the texta a light scrub off with a bit of metho on a rag mate and if your headlights are foggy, give them a manual buff up with some Autosol metal polish! works a real treat!
  3. i actually get a similar 'cold start ' effect when i havent fired her up for a good 3 days or more. When i first crank it over, revs will bog down under 300rpm for a split second or two and will then hunt its way up and up. I dont reckon its too much of an issue Matt, unless your car actually dies (on repeated occasions) if you dont stab the accelerator. I did also have the squeeling belt problem too; tightening the belt up did get rid of the problem. That squeeling doesnt sound too nice ay!
  4. for the 2nd problem, you could probably try cleaning the AAC valve. There is a thread in the DIY forum on how to do it. A lot of members have had good results after cleaning it.
  5. ah yes i think i know the ones, they are basically the same as standard but all clear/chrome rather than red? if so, seen a set on ebay a few years back, VERY rare and high in value, And they look tough!
  6. might have been mentioned in the past - does anyone else think those 33 LED rear lights that i mentioned in the 'cars spotted' thread look pretty shit house? Standard rears look great as is imo!
  7. ^ just seen MR R34 as well on grenfell in the city. Great looking car! and a gunmetal 33 GTS-(not sure if it was a 25T) with those LED type rear lights cruised past in the opposite direction at the same time.
  8. the way round it would be to cut your current loom from the wires and rematch the wires to a loom that will fit the switch pack you have... BUT dont quote me on that. They are probably shaped different for a reason / hence, the above idea i mentioned may not work
  9. What a dickhead. Guys like should get their cars confiscated by the cops. Thats just putting so many other road users in danger
  10. couldnt blame ya for cruising it out heaps, it looks 100x as nice in the flesh! i was gonna take a snap of it up the gorge the other day with my phone cam; had other cars approaching behind me though, so had to move off!
  11. Lovely car Luke, was you up in the hills on Gorge Rd yesterday? If you were, I reckon i seen it parked across the road from a pub up there near the gorge wildlife park... i recognised the WA plates and the black rims!
  12. F&^%! Sorry to hear/see that mate, thats quite a nasty thing to happen to a reasonably new house. That is one fine 33 you have there too!
  13. SOLD!
  14. seen a nice white 33 GTR parked on Nth TCE in front of Uni city west campus yesterday arvo and not a line, but an Audi R8 on Frome Rd near Rundle St. this morning... Nice!!!!
  15. MADR 34 or GDZLL4
  16. it certainly does look a little cheap and crappy... not nice at all. There was another thread about re-attaching the badge to the swivel, and someone posted that they successfully re attached it with a 'C' Clip of some sort... i cant see how thats going to work though... looks like we're due for a completely new badge / barrel unit.
  17. anyone ever re-attached the boot badge before? mine snapped off one day when i went to open the boot up and fill er up with goods.
  18. my missus accidentally threw our BDO tickets out fkn peaking. and because we grabbed em from big star records who were supplied from some promoter called OzTix, the MF's wont replace them... EVEN though they took all these security measures of recording names against the ticket sales, and signing declarations to help prevent ticket scalping...
  19. geez and i thought smart cars were minature!
  20. did the ford have personalised plates, and no spoiler?
