Pivot speed Meters go for between $90 and $150 online. Check out ebay or modyourcar.com These will both remove speed limiter (safely, without HICAS issues) and read up to 350km/hr. Also gives fairly accurate 0-100,200,300 and 400 metre times

All this and we still have no Idea how a stockish 33 made such good HP.. Even if peak power figures aren't that good a measure. Has anyone found out anymore info about this 33 and whether it was stock turbo, possibly different internals??

Just sell your current R33 GTS's and go out and buy R33 GTS-T, then use the extra monye you wouldve spent on the RB26 to make the RB25DET go quicker. There are plenty of R33 and R32 GTS-Ts out there that go HARD!

The guys doing this are pretty nasty pieces of work. About 12 months ago, my next door neighbour in COMO had his S15 stolen (very nice car, big stereo, 19s etc). They broke into the house and stole his keys aswell. The saga did not stop here though.... He bought a new '04 WRX, and modded it also. About two months later someone at his gym was selling some 19s cheap, they turned out to be his. When he found out he approached the guy and told him it was his car they stole and he was gonna go to the cops etc. The guys who stole the car took offence to this and came back to his house and trashed it. They once again tried to steal his wrx but couldn't get past the security code, instead they stole his gf's lancers' wheels and left it resting on the bodykit and wheel hubs out the front.

Its not worth Fighting it, I'd say based on the above comment her record is not "clean" Simple fact is if you needed to swerve to avoide the traffic in front you were following to closely. Chances are you got off lighly with a charge for no indication. You could have been charged with careless driving or worse

If you want a balance between the race nimble feel of a 180 and the road stance, comfort of the R33, buy an R32 GTS-T You get the great skyline interior but in a lighter bodyshell

I'm gonna agree that police officers in Perth are fair. Anything I have been booked for has always been something I did wrong, I've even had my fair share of "we are just warning you today MR Hughes". However 3 weeks ago when driving home one friday night a got pulled aside in an RBT and the cop went over the car with a fine tooth comb. He picked on my "too hard" suspension and even asked me what my alarm siren was? It was when I told him that it was an alarm siren that he let me go. Musta felt real silly. I was very nice to this guy but lost respect for him after that.

The 400PS rating is output from the engine (the amount the turbo will flow) I would be more inclined to check out the Garrett range, GT2871R is identical to the GT-RS but much cheaper, Garrett make the GT-RS for HKS under contract. Most RB25's running GT28R's and larger GT2871R's put down reliable 260 rwkw providing you have a good tune and all the other bits (cooler, zorst etc) I'm not sure whether you would need bigger injectors - don't know what the neo Rb25s flow

Just to add me 5 cents worth into this discussion, my mate who used to work with me had a 180sx and got into a driving argument on Roe hwy with a Trev in a Commodore Ute. After Rich got the better of the ute driver, the guy raced up along side him and proceeded to ram him off the road. End result = busted up 180 in ditch next to Roe hwy. Sure the ute driver was charged and the 180 was fixed, but all that hassle could have been avoided if Rich in his 180 had just let this tosser go.
