  1. The Td05/06 turbo is a excellent match for the RB20 imo. It does require a spacer plate about 10mm just so the comp cover clears the manifold. With supporting mods you will get around 240rwkw. Cant remember about the dump pipe but any decent exhaust shop would be able to make split entry dump for it. Havent had any experience with the gcg hi-flow though so dont know which is better. BTW it is a T3 flange.
  2. Mate have a read of the original question and then what you wrote in the thread and you will realise who the ass is. It wasnt till Wilch made a post that the question got an answer. I personal would go for a turbo kit as well but he wasnt asking that was he. So why dont you just answer the question instead of attacking other peoples opinions.
  3. Youve seen cheaper. Good on you, just because joe blogs down the road will dodgy something up, doesnt mean its worth it. Dont know about 6boost kits http://www.performanceforums.com/forums/sh....php?t=67194195 there you go. Im sure FStr32 will have something critical to say about that to or that you can get something cheaper but ive got one at the quality is excellent. Chris
  4. Wilch is spot on. $1650 is a about what it would cost to put one on. If you are going to spend $4g on a kit get a 6Boost kit, at least you will get a decent manifold unlike a reworked std one in the other kit. As for Rigolis they were the only blokes that i would take my car to before they moved back down to Sydney. The quality of there work was always exceptional and never had a problem with them. Chris
  5. IMS in nerang do. Not cheap though.
  6. There we go boys and girls. Cheers nemini90 Chris
  7. The turbo is as bought. It has never been blow and never rebuilt. The turbo hits boost at 2000rpm and full boost a bit over 4000rpm. Though it may seem laggy I had a std r32 intercooler, injectors, ecu and everything for that matter apart from turbo and exhaust. With a intercooler and ecu, I would expect the turbo to hit full boost in the 3rpm range. Chris
  8. I must keep on doing something wrong cause it doesnt work for me. If anyone is interested pm me and ill send pics.
  9. As for trim details i cant confirm anything for sure. No doubt a trust agent could confim trims with the serial numbers on the turbo. There is a 10 on the inside of the exhaust housing which i assume would mean 10cm2 but as said before i cant confirm the trim. JMS sold the same turbo as a Trust TD05/06 470hp turbo as well as a jap performance part website which i can no longer find. http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/category/26 If you look at the pic of the TD-06, the turbo looks the same as that. If you would like pics pm me your email and ill send you some pics. If you are live in SEQ i would prefer you to come and have a look at the kit in person as photos cant show the play in the turbo or in this cause the lack of play. Chris
  10. There isnt an id badge on it, just a series of numbers. If you dont believe me, ring danny from jms as they had one for sale last year for $1800 by itself. Their picture of the turbo never had an id badge either. If you want a pic of the turbo pm me your email and i will send you pics. If your not interested in the kit then please dont waste my time though. Thank you for confirming this turbo nemini90 Chris
  11. Sorry mate but there is such a turbo. It was made as a bolt on turbo upgrade for the nissan rb20/25 engine hence why the turbo has a t3 flange. Yes the gate and manifold are included, basically every thing you need to bolt it on to an rb20 Im on the Gold Coast so if anyone is interested in looking at the turbo in person feel free to pm me and we can organise a time. Chris
  12. TRUST Td05/06 T3 turbo rated at 470hp with modified std r32 manifold and turbosmart 45mm wastegate with oil line and inlet pipe for std afm. all ready to bolt on to rb. Made 318rwhp on 15psi. $1200 Chris
  13. Add up how much it will cost to build a killer RB30DETT. To get it built with forged internals will cost more than the whole conversion it self. I picked up my half cut for $3900 (auto not manual) and the only additional cost to a rb30dett engine conversion is engine and gearbox mounts. Every thing else sits close enough to a rb that it wont cost alot to connect or needs to be done with the Rb anyway. A manual 2JZ would probably cost more but my auto conversion with tricked up auto will cost less.

  15. I have a VZ commy. It is only 6 months old but has 40000km already. The car has been in 5 times to get problems fixed. The diff will be lucky to last the year out and the gearbox is already starting to fail. The build quality of the commodore is non existant. The trim has started to squeek with parts of the centre console falling out as well as door trim ( Not drivers side ). My skyline still doesnt have any squeeks and rattles, it has 150000kms and is 15 years old. Nothing built in Australia comes up to the build quality of the japs. Oh and my STOCK R32 skyline auto ran 15.1 down the quater.
