i've also noticed 1st to second a bit hard. is it just the stock clutch is rooted ? Whats the best cheapest option under $1000

yeah 6 ltrs should be enough to do both. Yeah dont over fill your engine oil Just fill the gbox and diff untill they just start to overflow

34 gtt fuel filter $35 from nissan dealer $9 for a oil filter used about 5ltrs for diff and gbox, also used redline oil

that's the dealers problem not yours. You can get a nismo dash for $ 5 - 600 or the computers rooted wich is more than likely if you reset it and it worked for a while. They need to get a diagnostic machine and see if there is any fault codes. Mght be something simple like a sensor

Used about or a bit over 5 ltr to do diff and gearbox last week. Motor is nearly spot on 5ltr. I put the whole lot in and it sits a tiny bit over full. 98 gtt manual

did it make any difference if you put the old ones back in ? might be a dodge plug or not in properly , but prob be more likely to be coil packs. How old is the car and kms ? but i'd be trying the old plugs in again before you fork out the $600 for new coils

getting a shudder in first gear and a jerky feel through 2nd / 3rd gear. It's only when you change gear and let it out it does it. It'll do it for a week and then piss off for a week then be back again. . The top gears are fine , well the seem to be fine. Doesn't seem to be as bad when going up a hill , maybe more revs ? Thanks

no it's not the jack, checked to make sure sounds to be more like around the back seat area

I'm getting a weird clunk noise in my 34 gtt that sounds like it's coming from the back passenger side. It only happens when you hit a hard corner at speed. It kind of sounds like a srewdriver rolling along the floor and hitting something . It hasn't affected the car but it sounds weird. Any ideas ? Maybe 4ws thanks

yeah don't try and peel the pink sticker off it's tamper proof. Will have void written through it when you peel it. I think the pink stickers came out in 05 on.

mine have been changed to halogen and they still work

should have the pink sticker on the drivers strut tower and a silver plate rivited in the firewall above the vin plate

finally got my car to the brake shop. Had the discs machined at the local tyre shop to fix the soft pedal feel. But after they had done them i started to get a wobble in the front end. So i went to a proper brake place only to discover that the tyre shop had only machined one side of the disc. The back side was almost new and the front was just about down to the wear limit and they had also machined a wobble in them. So now i'm up for 2 new front rotors. So I'm getting slotted ones and red stuff pads in the front aswell. They're going to give it a full look over at the same time. Hopefully this will fix the soft pedal feel. Will post the results

going to install a bosch o44 fuel pump intank to my 34 gtt . I see some people fitting some but dont put the intank filter back on. This seems crazy to me. Does anyone know if the 34 gtt filter will fit on the bosch or if any other model will suit ? Just wanting to know before i pull it out and find it won't fit and have to frig around. thanks
