I started pulling my sterio out the other day but i'm stuck as to how to get it out. it seems to be stuck aroung the air conditioning face. does that need to come off ? anyone know . thanks just worked it out in another tread sorry.

Ok got a price for genuine parts. For the headlights it's $690 each but with xenons it $2000 each. Is it possible and would it be cheaper to get a aftermarket xenon kit ? I've had no luck getting second ones, I only got one reply so far from e-mails and the best i got was 1 used right hand light with xenon for $1000. does anyone know some good wreckers?

mine had the service stickers from the mechanics inside the doors and the dates and kms matched good. I think they are pretty strick with km winding now as they often knock them back from the auction yard if they think they have been fiddled with

i just brought my r34 gt-t 2 door and paid $38500 but it was perfect no steering wheel wear or anywhere else but it had only done 25k

I've got the nice blokes at SVI where i brought the car looking for a set for me in Japan and in Australia so I will post the outcome and comparison when I get them for others concidering going back to xenons

sorry is that $1000 just for the headlights or will i still have to get extra stuff to get the xenons working

thanks but mine have already been converted and they are sh!t once converted. I cant adjust mine now.

they change the surface / reflectors and has a sticker on it saying not to attept to change back to gas discharge.

Does anyone know where I could find some r34 gtt headlights. I just imported my 34 and they disconnect the xenons and change the inside of the lights so you can't put them back in for compliance reasons.

yeah pretty expensive. I put it on peoples cars all the time. They use it inside your doors aswell on the sill part so you dont keep scratching it with your foot when you get in and out. I'm pretty sure it will stop the paint coming off as that's what it's designed for. It's like a thick contact your mum used to put on your school books. I think its pretty noticable unless you have it low, but i'm a fussy bastard.

I've used the 3m stonegard if thats the same stuff your talking about. It's fairly durrable but the edges lift usually. Pretty hard to install doesn't like curves too much you have to shrink it .I would only recommend it down low as it looks a bit daggy. Excellent for bottoms of sideskirts and edges.

had a bloke come into work the other day raving how good holdens where and was getting a bright yellow sticker put on the back of his pov dunnydoor executive the old " only milk and juice come in 2 litres " . He was looking all smug so I replied " but you know only cheap wine comes in 5 litres" . He shut up then and left as fast as he could. I see him at the gym and he all ways goes when I come in. -
do anyone know what's the best bov for a r34 gt-t. I was going to buy a gfb steath but was told that it would cause the car to backfire when you took your foot of the accelerator. Is this true ? thanks

A 4 door windscreen is different to the 2 door so watch out

I work at a windscreen shop and I'm pretty sure if you call PGI (Protecor Glass Industries)in B'bane they will find you one. I'm getting a r34 in 2 weeks and I asked them before I brought one.

i'm getting a r34 in about a month also. I can remember hearing something about a recall on r34s for that problem in Japan . Maybe try nissan
