Item: GCG XTR Hiflow HT18S-2S Series 4 RX7 Turbo (Unused) Location: Rockhampton QLD Item Condition: New Reason for selling: Project not going ahead Price and payment conditions: $800ono Extra Info: *Will provide VG30 rear housing which can be machined to allow easy fitment onto skyline* I have a reconditioned and hiflowed GCG 'XTR' Series 4 RX7 Hitachi HT18S-2S turbo that was done at GCG turbochargers. It has not been bolted on an engine since this work was done (all nice and pretty, completely reconditioned and ready to go). The compressor wheel now has 56mm diameter inducer and the turbo is now good for 450-500hp at the flywheel. It has the XTR badge riveted to the cover. The hiflowing and reconditioning cost just over $1200 (have a copy of receipt). This turbo is very similar to the GCG hiflows of rb20/25 turbos that everyone on here raves about. Being a series 4 turbo it has the weird shaped inlet (not t3), however I also have a vg30 rear housing which GCG can machine to suit this turbo, and allow it to be quite easily fitted to a vl or skyline. no conan... this bike is only a single R... Apart from other differences, u can easily tell by the less aggressive fairings... Alot of people just put RR badges on CBR's, same as GTR badges on GTST's

Hey Merli, Recieved the GTR gearbox mount today. Hooray. Cheers it looks great. After just being ripped off during the week by a person on calaisturbo.com (Set of turbos, supposed high flow, turns out one isnt and is totally rooted, over a grand wasted), its great to see some-one using internet forums and specially for sale sections for their intended use. For this reason, cheers merli for sending the goods and not being like some of the other scum. yes predator, I never said that it wasn't their 'position'..... NOW. it is not the original legislation though is it? why didn't they or you quote that? the words 'intent' and 'generally' are pretty vague words. once again its up to interpretation. what the government is doing now is backpedalling. and this legislation was passed in 1992? so they have had 14 odd years to realise that their rules didn't represent their original 'intention'!?!?!?! yeah right..... i have no doubts the government will change the rules to suit their own wishes and motives. what I am saying is that anyone here crying foul that they are going to get ripped if they don't change the rules is putting up a very weak excuse. the rule has been around and has been used with in the same manner for years without government intervention.
