  6. ebays pretty cheap, but at shop price the cheapest tyres i've found but in 18" is 170p/t but the nankangs
  7. you'll have to have pretty small tyres maybe lipped infront or those widebody fibreglass gaurds you can get i have 8.5" in front they fit ok and 9.5' on the back which also fit good not sure about your ofsets though 30's....
  8. i say get one of those new greddy m-spec ones there cheap and good quality i think there around the 700 mark too or theres always hybrid for around 600 and there pretty good too.

  10. btw here pics of the inside of my box for you mate
  11. i'd be interested in a 3" to fit my r32gtst so whats the go there is it 280 with 3" flanges or + 65 to have 3" flanges welded on??
  12. very nice job mate now go cover it in carbon fibre contact adhesive!
  13. ohh and about the topstage shield.. i can see the left side wall of it goes down to the bottom but is the a top back wall of the shield that goes across the top of the heat shield (horizontally)? hmmm i dont understand you there mate, but on the airflow meter side theres a shield there & that goes to the front of the car and then sits flush with the suspension tower, and the top cover just sits of the top, when i get my car back from the panel shop i'll take another pick of it with the lid off. before i got that top stage box i tried making one out of tin sheet i got from bunnings it turned out ok but when i bent it to make a lid the bends where all over the shop looked pretty dodgey.
  14. if there what i'm thinking of you get get them at auto barn, they have them on ns.com in the trader section where autobarn advertises. there made by gizzmo... http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=137329

  21. hey guys, i put a blitz lm fmic on my r32 gtst a couple of months ago and ive noticed the when you put your foot down at say 2,500rpm it takes of hit full boost then hesitates at about 3000rpm maybe a little more and takes of like a bat outta hell again! what would this be i have a 3" cat back would the standard front & dump & cat be restricting when the wastegate starts to open with so much flow ?? its really annoying thanks simon
  22. the rims were just chrome before but with heaps of deep scratches because we tried painting them and the half chipped off so i tried paint remover and a scraper and the end result was lots of scratches, i'll try the sanding option again and put it on balancer, btw the sandblasting took out a fair bit of gutter rash so he went pretty hard on them cheers
  23. hey i'm i a bit of a pickle i got my rims sandblasted and now i want to have the inside powdercoasted gold but polish the outter dish piece only thing is the sandblasting is such a rough finish anyone know how to get it smooth i tried sanding but it to about 20 mins to get a patch smooth about as long as your finger! but then that bit polished up ok. We thought of jacking the car up and putting the rim on there and just spinning the wheels while in the air holding some sand paper there good idea?? or maybe some type of acid bath? thanks simon p.s you can see in the DSCF0289.JPG picture where i sanded and polished it and then more to the inside what i started with
  24. you forgot my name buddy i paid ages ago cheers
