  1. anyone bought the HKS one? or links to the ones in yahoo? I like the fact the factory one flexes, mine is just looking a little tired....
  2. not rated at all.... shame shame shame....
  3. I see dead people.... errr no, I see the dyno graph's
  4. awesome! I look forward to similar power once the clutch is up to it
  5. hey Jerry, how is it all going???? Im off to BEL 2moro to add a few goodies, and then it will need a dyno tune once I get back from work on the 10th....
  6. super impressed with the result for 320hp turbos!!! my GTSS are supposedly similar in output, so interesting times ahead!!! I take it stock 80k odd engine also? can't wait to hear about cam timing.... it is certainly opening up a can of worms up this way!
  7. I still think that as internal wastegated turbos go, the TRUST units are by far the best (may not be the cheapest) and as it is a biatch of a job, doing it once seems to save money in the long run.... Hey marcus! did you see the pics I took for you of the R34 wheels
  8. G'day Jack! I have also recently had a set of these cams fitted with, like you the assoc. goodies to go along with it, and will post full results shortly...(need a stronger clutch before going to 1.4 BAR) I would like to hear back from you (as would others) as to the settings used by Ben for the cams... I currently have 0 0 set but I am running HKS GT-SS turbos, so there may be a difference there.... BTW what are the TRUST turbos rated at? cheers!
  9. Richard wants a beer cruise!.... hmmm
  10. I had the same drama.... I tried the unit in another car.... and same problem... it was the power FC, so I got another FC and it works fine... sent the problem FC back to the guy I bought it from, and now waiting to hear back! basically I have been told it is a flash memory problem with the FC and is a comman thing.... if it is new, I would try the unit in another car with an FC same car etc... and if it still does it, its the unit then send it back to nengun and they will swap it no problems....
  11. Hey Shonen, I don't think it was mean't to be like that... it was a bit of a mess trying to get 40 odd people into a place without a booking! and when the first table became aval. some of us sat down etc. and the rest came inside once they had finished chatting outside.... it just worked out that way that there were 3 tables, and not just one... I think it was far better sitting inside that out in the rain with take-away pizza! besides the staff were nice and friendly in the end it was 3 tables of "skyline" people, and apart from the rain a very good night!!!! so the question is, nick when are we all doing it again? would be great to get all the cars parked in a row in that car park for some nice fotos!
  12. Yes I think it should be a regular thing! 25 cars on a freezing cold and rainy night is very good indeed! Thanks Nick for taking the time to put it together, and our luck was in getting enough seating in the new pizza house for 40 unscheduled guests (us lot).... and the underground car park was a good place to meet considering the weather!!!
  13. I think the problem is, your car says "defect me now I dare you....." good driver or not, and that is no way a slight on you personally, as the Pope driving this car would get pulled over every now and then as 7 says, drive correctly, and you should have no dramas... but there is a little luck involved....
  14. hey brett don't be a girl I cleaned the car all day today! and I'm still going.... marko will be there also see you all there!
  15. you can hear the turbos spinning after shut down???
  16. ok marcus I took some measurements of my R32 GTR with the R34 GTR wheels... on the rear which you asked me to measure, I found that it was about 22mm from rim edge to furthest part of the guard (i.e. the centre looking down....) here are some pics to help with a tape measure as a guide.... oh and yes car was just washed rusty discs!! and no I didnt gutter wheels.... previous japanese dude thrashed these wheels on some circuit.... tyres are totalled! anyhow I hope this helps you out.....
  17. half the price of a decent Twin ..... about 900-1000 so I am told
  18. I'm there if the Co-Jo is there....
  19. http://www.nengun.com
  20. Well I am getting a Jim Berry single! once that is in the car will be tuned again for 1.4 BAR and I'm sure to see 300awkw and from all reports, Jim's clutch will do this in its sleep.... for what its worth, my understanding is that a single has more meat on it that say a twin or tripple, being that it is still in the same space the single would take up... so I would say a good single will outlast a twin in most cases.... which seems to be backed up with the time frame most of jims clutches last over twins... and they seem to be half the price of a decent twin too :):) oh and I think I must hold a world record!!! (Jim on and off the phone with clutch info and spec's etc in 6 mins 34 sec!!!!)
  21. GETSET can you please write maybe a few more less choice words about your situation? I am planning on taking it up with them personally..... your imput and problems would be good for all to hear I think....
  22. I'm going out to see John 2moro.... Chris (doughboy) is a good guy....please keep in mind that it is in his best interests also to fix this problem midnightGTR, I will be taking up the case of at least 3 people having the same failure as me with John 2moro, and he will be given the previously stated 3 options....
