Ok this is a curly one for you NSW and ACT lads.... As some of you know, I'm now living the quiet life in little old Adelaide, with hardly a problem in the world..... no riots, and no cop trouble! life is sweet!!! ok I digress.... recently I had a speeding fine from, of all places, the ACT.... having recieved it via my NSW address, I was confused as to how this happened? never having driven my GTR in the ACT.... and for the fact that I was in LA at the time, and the car was in the lockup garage in South OZ.... on ringing the ACT traffic board they tell me it is deff. the right plate.... so I ask for the pic! pic comes back.... GTR-260 on NSW plates but instead of my black on white plate... its a dark blue or black plate with white writting! hmmm.... anyone know another metalic grey GTR with either these plates or very very similar ciaooooo

yeah mine is low enough as it is!!! and my GTR is hardly low a stock one would be fine!!!!

so is it correct if you had a comp. plate you would have had a simple VIN check and that would have been it?

well I have a twin system on my GTR.... if you search under my name there are a stack of pics, and like yellow GTR man it is insane loud but sounds oh so cooool.... oh BTW I have a apexi butterfly valve to shut it up for some people that think 130db is anti social...

I remember SK mentioning 700nm as the torque figure that will bang a box.... as hp doesnt really mean a whole lot as far as the box is concerned....

I might have to source a blinder M-20 or similar in the USA.... surely that is where they are all made? home of the free... blah blah blah...

I have the 57mm with the clutch fan and the shrowd! but I think the shrowd is going to get the ditch..... it does more harm than good

ok but in the link I have used, and talked to these guys and they are stating that the rings are CP and that they are tool steel.... proengines, what did you think of the pistons your customer came to you with? I have an "old" 955sti BEL but hasn't seen some use in quite a while... it worked very well for years and years! the only time we got caught was doing xxxxkph with said laser gun in the middle section of the freeway... at 3am! girl snapped us at pretty low range, as this was in an RX7 testing for targa! anyhow got done for 140, but ABS does a wonderful thing from a top end haul!! she was very confused as to why the number was so slow, and secondly the glow from under the car as it idled away madly... I think the male cop knew what the story was, and was grinning too! so.... where do you get a LIDAR jammer? Im off to the states next week, and might pick one up?

well like all things in life you get what you pay for.....

I'll think you find that the corrections you can make are a 1 time affair.... i.e. if you turn the car off, it is erased.... I guess if your willing to do it each time, then go right ahead...

well I wasn't impressed with tillbrooks, on the other hand having been to see shaun at boost worx twice now he was more than helpful.... he may not have GT-Rs in there everyday, but he knows them very well indeed

anyone else with anything to add to this CP confusion.... I have it on good authority that these are a complete CP set up, and the price is right.....
