  3. Hey all you XXXX lovers, Im comin up for a night on saturday with my sis to see some rellos, staying in some fancy hotel in the city and wondering where is a good place to go out? Names and locations would be good, ive got nfi about brissy to be honest... The plan is to get reasonably looooooose! Might see ya out Cheers
  4. Hey mate, how ya been? I picked up a 2000 Model Suzuki Bandit 250V, for what your wanting to spend.... Its the locally delivered model with the variable valve timing, mine had 30,000k on the clock, and ive clocked up more than 13,000 in about 9 months of riding!! Its a 250 in a 400 frame, so its a bit bigger, (alot of people dont think its a 250), and its quick enough to keep up with the RRs.... Overall great bike, i do love it, i prefer riding than driving anyday (cept when the rain is horizontal) thismorning it was 5deg and i jumped on the bike, hands were a bit cold though!... I spent about 1800 on gear getting everything, dont skimp! Boots, pants, gloves, helmet, jacket..... If you dont ride like a f**kwit, and you expect EVERYONE to do the stupidest thing ever (so your prepared) then youll be fine on the roads.. 2 of my mates have 620 dukes on their Ls... one has bent the restrictor back, the other has stacked it... 12k bike this is not fun!! Best thing about bikes is fuel economy, its fun going anywhere... and at 3am it takes me 13min to get to work, at 730 it takes me 15min (in traffic).... I love it!!!!!!!!
  5. I went for a spin in the passenger seat of a Proper V8 Race Car (only slight differences between this and a V8 Supercar... Engine wasnt one of them).... and holy shit it was the best track experience ive ever had, totally pushed back in the seat, the grip and g forces were amazing, the noise and smell.... hammering around oran park was tops... Yeah i wasnt driving, but i could barely walk and my face was hurting from smiling so much.. To be honest, i didnt think a commodore could go around a corner so fast!!
  6. Im here for world UTE DAY
  7. wow that is clean as mate! Goodluck
  8. Program/Commercial Time Received Call Type Details ------------Complaint-------------- Praise----- Enquiry--- Request/Suggest----- Comment SPORTS FORMULA 1 --------------------------- 1-------------------------------------------------Thank you for showing this live, it has made such a difference. ok so whos the one that called up to praise me... lol Gimp - those shows are still shown, even though they are old they rate well... high ratings = money...
  9. bells line of road is always good getting drunk at a pub is my fav and i love inner west head, opp palm beach, the view is amazing and its quiet
  10. so you ate a bag of pingaz lol
  11. Im glad that cops are floating around, maybe it will make people realise that the "Watch This Bro" term isnt actually cool, and that cars do kill people.... There are cops on netrider, you can even ask them questions! I think it would be great if there was a section like that on SAU, maybe more mods would be legal, and people would understand the consequences of their actions if they have a run in with police..
  12. If you read carefully, I have installed these under dashboards.. So the outside alarm is for the attention, the inside alarm is unbearably loud.... Destined to stop a thief in their tracks
  13. I dont know if you got what i meant, there is not much point in getting a brand spanker 250 when youll want to upgrade when your off your restrictions.. You might say you wont want to upgrade now, but give it 8 months and youll be wanting to jump onto something a bit quicker.. 600s will still give you good economy if you ride them well, and they have a bit of up and go... There are a few good looking 250s around, but not many people buy 250s because they look good, in the end they are still 250s, the good lookers are the ones that perform well too... How about a Ducati 620, they are throttle restricted so legal to ride on your Ls (and yuo remove it for fulls), they look good, can get great economy out of them, and you dont have to sell and loose alot of money when you want to get a bigger bike... Up to you though mate, spending 7k on a 250cc on the road... you may aswell keep the 7k to yourself and put it in petrol, that will last a good while imo... In the end, your money... im just voicing my opinion...
  14. lots of nice cars.... good turnout... but damn there are some terrible bodykits floating around, and some horrifying looking cars
  15. nice bikes and all, but remember your spending 7k on a 250cc.... Id buy something 2nd hand cheaper, and save my money for a 600 or a 1000
  16. dude that sucks man, apart from an immob have you got a nice loud alarm? a 120db screamer under the dash hidden works wonders! it will make their ears bleed before they can start pulling wires out! Pm me if you want more info..
  17. love the screamer right out the side lol
  18. Anyone Considered Mazda 2s? My gf has one, very comfortable for 4 people, huge boot (ive put a motorbike in the back of one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), the gearbox is nice, ive driven it up bells line and it was suprisingly chuckable and felt confident on the road.... Around town its smooth and easy, farken good on fuel too!
  19. Meh there is always next year... Now piss off QLD go play with NT
  20. well the tyres werent new when i bought the bike so i dont know how many kms they had on them, prob got another 8-10k on them easy... pretty good imo.. i wouldnt even get that mileage out of my skyline! Mate to be honest i dont know why your comparing a superbike to a runaround car... its like comparing a ferarri to a scooter... Of course a shitbox, beat up, 1.6L nugget will be cheap, but where is the thrill in driving that.. it cant run 10s out of the factory, it cant beat porsches.. its like apples and oranges... Take a 300kw skyline, a hi po 200sx, hell even my S4 and THEN a bike is considerably cheaper! If your old man wants a cheap bike he should get a postie and sell the 323... Okok, so lets go on netrider and tell everyone with 1000s or 750s that they should sell them and get honda jazz's... simply because they are cheaper, then instead of going on rides on sundays we can go in Jazz formations.. If i wanted to save lots of money then id buy a $500 suzuki swift, fart in the petrol tank every couple of weeks and put radial tyres on it every 5 years.. but would it be any fun? no. Would i want to take it out on weekends.. no... Could i lane split and totally avoid traffic all together... no.. time is money afterall... The Racv should be comparing performance levels... compare a scooter to a shitbox a 600cc to a V8 a 750 to a 350kw car and a 1000 to a 600hp 10sec car.. then whats going to be cheaper? Do you see where im going with this.... get a shitter if you want to not spend a cent... get a bike if you want to enjoy the roads, have fun, and save money... if your minted then get a car and work the shit out of it.... Does not bother me if the 1000 chews tyres... riding to and from work saves me $20 a day, so thats just over 1 month of riding and the not paying for parking has saved me a new set of tyres worth of cash.. I get your point... but You simply cant compare low performance econo boxes to high performance superbikes
  21. hahahahaha better even if she gets up it with you and 3 mates in the back all hammered... whilst on the way to maccas of course! IMO nothing better than you and 3 mates hammered, with your misses driving, chopping ricers and shitboxes making people upset.. whilst yelling out the window.... Mayuri Krab - shit dude, id never let my mum drive my car! Terrible driver!
  22. Your the one in control of it remember.... it goes as fast/slow as you want it to
  23. I let my misses drive my old skyline, she loved it, although a bit afraid about bringing it on boost, she learnt how to pothole dodge, and she quicky learnt the height of it for speed bumps etc etc.. i LOLed at the looks she used to cop too She drives S4, she loves this alot more.... Even she admits the speed it gains on the freeway is frightening... She has admitted that if it was HER car she would definately start loosing points on her licence... Hell when i had a 350z for a month she was driving that too, on McCars Creek road, hitting corners at double the reccomended speed, i was the navigator and saying "ok now break hard, hard hard, 2nd gear, ease on the throttle... GO GO GO GO GO" i dont think she realised that she could, nor a car could go around corners that fast.... Yeah occasionally id be a bit nervy, but there is nothing better than a hot chick driving a hot car IMO It is a car after all, and whats better than someone else enjoying what you normally enjoy
  24. Im not sure your right there mate... Ive had a bike for the last 10 months, its cost me all of $90 for a new chain, $30 in sprokets, $40 in oils, $10 chain lube... Ive done 12,000km on it I spent $1800 on gear to protect myself, helmet, pants, gloves, jacket, boots.... I pay $250 a year rego (cars are $500+) I pay $650 Full Comp Insurance (I pay $3000 on the car) I spend $18 to fill the tank i get 250km from that I dont pay for parking anywhere (saves me $18 a day at work) HUGE savings there I dont sit in traffic, traffic does not slow me down I ride to and from work, aswell as anywhere and everywhere on the weekends with my mates.... Ill be getting a GSXR1000 in a few months and the prices will go up as i know, but the way fuel is going ill more than likely sell the car and just have a bike... possibly a $1500 shitter for the days rain is going sideways A bike has been a bloody great money saver for me, aswell as alot of fun!
  25. now with fuel prices nudging 2 dollar a L get a sports bike too best of both worlds
