the arc cooler is much better consuction and argued as one the best on the market than the hybrid and has better flow charactoristics and as it mounts in the stock location and same lengh pipeing as opposed to the front mount which will have more piping , the main difference is that you will have slightly better throttle response with one in the same location, as there is less volume the air needs to fill before the intake.
i run a d1 drift fmic kit and i think it is quite good, and i didnt really notice and lag or less respone thought i am not running stock boost and i was running 11 psi in stock cooler and once a changed it seemed a lot less restrictive, not sure what i would be like with stock boost though.
the end of the day i feel that the fmic will cool better as opposed to a cooler on an angle and it is harder for it to pass though.
it alll depends what sor of boost and power you would like to obtain.
