Finally got around to taking some pics of my new Stagea - here's 1, more in gallery for any1 wanting a look...

2 x 2 1/16 gauges fit snugly in the ashtray hole, angled up and towards me They actually jam in there tightly and hold without any mounting at all, but for aesthetics I am getting a dash colour-matched plastic facia surround made up this week to close it in nicely. Heres a pic:

With the current Alpine head units saying they are iPod ready (with adaptor cable)... does that mean they are iPod specific - or will work with any MP3 player?? I dont know much about MP3 players - so yeah - can they make it iPod specific or are they just using that coz everyone (except me) knows what they mean??? Tried Alpine but no reply yet CHEERS

Thanks mate - lifesaver! Quickly trying to decide on a front and rear bar I like... My mech is off to Japan next week on a buying trip, and if I can sort out the front and rear bar I want he will hopefully try and pick em up!

Man I need to learn so much - dont know anything about brakes... can someone have a look at the stagea replacement brake parts available from this Jap supplier (link below) and tell me what I am looking at... calipers? rotors? pads? single piston? four piston? which set should i buy what am i getting if i buy them?? Another query with aircon... only a minor annoyance - but stag is first car Ive driven where the climate control doesnt keep memory of the aircon setting when u switched the car off... every time u get in the car it is by default switched off... just irks me coz if I hop out, pop into a shop - pop back in and turn key - it doesnt go back to my preferred aircon setting i just had... so i have to switch it on, readjust it etc every time... So yeah - any1 know of anyway around this - so that when i turn the car on it is on the same aircon setting it was when i last turned the car off???

Hey Lone... thanks man - I am pretty happy with it - its a nicer yellow than I expected... in the digital pics from the yard it looked really bright yellow (canary yellow)... but its actually a good couple of shades darker and deeper. Still so torn up on wheel colour to really set off the yellow body... I really cant decide between gunmetal or non-gloss black (eg Lenso ZT6 or Enkie RP03 hyperblack) to match in with the amount of black in the body/windows, or white (eg Te-37), or plain silver.... or a set of R34 GTR rims... hmmm. I dont think Ill know until i buy a set on impulse I think :wassup: But yeah - first week of ownership sure is exciting... burning a hole in my wallet just thinking about what to do to it first!
