  2. i believe rb25 na ones are even worse again, don't bother with the na rb20 cams!
  3. hopefully the weather's not too bad for it!
  4. shite, u learn something everyday! When i got done about 1.5yrs ago the copper told me that to go to regency you needed to get done for something emission related or more than 3 things!
  5. u changed your engine number when you put the motor in didn't you? How did you get regency if you were only done for bein too low?
  6. rego til 2008? I thought u could only rego a car for a maximum of 12 months? Sounds a bit suss!
  7. ye i think its definitely worth more that 17g's even taking into consideration that you never get back what you put in. I won't be selling it if i don't get $20,000. I'll just have to work out another way to get her a deasant car!
  8. i paid $500 for my 25de head from FBI before they went bust, hehe!
  9. ah, i had this problem about a year back, welded it up and she's all sweet now. I can probably do it for you if you like!
  10. but onto the subject at hand, the RB23/4, bang for buck, just isnt going to cut it. if i was in your position, id definitely be going for the RB25/30 combination with a DE head (id imagine the non turbo nomenclature would make them cheaper as a bonus compared to DET heads). get a '30 block, non turbo should be right, but if you can find a turbo block for the right price, snap it up, bolt the 25DE head on top, strap a turbo and fmic on it, and enjoy life. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ the turbo block is identical pretty much to the non turbo block apart from the pistons, you do not want to use these pistons as you will end up with way too lower compression. Brenton: Go with the 25/30 combo, do as cubes said and grab a running rb30e, check compression etc to make sure its top notch. then find an r32 rb25de head, whack some GTR valve springs in and you'll be laughing! Trust me, you won't regret it as the feeling this motor gives you when driving is awesome and definitely worth it in my opinion!
  11. moving early january guys so i need to get rid of some of this stuff to make moving easier and to clear some space!
  12. fair enough, but i'm sure there's someone out there who wants a nice clean 32 with a very good street motor in her!
  13. i went last year on a friday and it was absolutely packed, your left leg is well and truely dead by the end of it, i'd be keen on any night but friday or saturday!

  15. why an external gate....................you do know what they are? You've basically answered your own questions. See sydneykid for the groupbuy on suspension and one of the sponsors will do you a good deal on an intercooler kit which should leave you some cash to get it installed if your not too mechanically minded and if you have enough free cash get a fuel pump.
  16. also found today my old boost controller that came with the car, its a no name brand but used like a solenoid device to switch from lo-hi boost (held 10 & 13psi beautifully when on my car. Comes with an in cabin switch too!) Don't need any more as i have a 15 psi actuator! Make an offer!!!
  17. moving house soon so i need some of this gear gone, make a sensible offer on something that interests you!
  18. looks like i'll be keeping her then!
  19. i have a spacer that my engine builder made up, i took a pic but dunno where it is, i'll have a look around!
  20. mmmmmm, i love my quiet exhaust, hehe.
  21. you can talk, haha. definitely don't ruin the nice car u have by putting vinyls on them.
  22. i'll put my name down as interested!
  23. your probably better off asking these types of questions (and a few of the others you have asked) in other sections of SAU as this part of the site is primarily for SA related topics! Hope you don't take it the wrong way!
