  1. spewin jase, don't hear of many people getting through with a 2-way, i'd change it. Your basically guaranteed to go back a second time so just take it there as is and they'll write everything down that needs to be done then just do everything that regency writes on the list as they are not allowed to add anything the second time round. for example the first time i went i got done for a missing exhaust manifold bolt (was snapped) and supposedly worn suspension bushes. I feel for ya!
  2. all look good!
  3. Please see edit in first post^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
  4. thats the first time i've heard that about the tires, its interesting to know, i think you guys need to try and stop reading into these figures so much. Remember a dyno is only a tuning tool, the track and your MPH is a real test of the power your making and until we get a track we won't really know i guess! Dyno's can vary so much with their power readings just from the tiniest things, its nothing to get caught up on!
  5. i'll give you $100 including delivery to adelaide seeing as you can get these new off nengun for cheaper!
  6. makes me happy that my car isn't running at present cause i live near you dc_gtst
  7. all depends how you mount it, mines fairly loud but that cause i used a metal hose clamp to mount mine!
  8. there it is, thanks Warren.
  9. ahhh, i understand now, takes me a couple of reads to understand things but i get there! I'll msg andrew!
  10. mmmmm, march is realistic for me!
  11. cheers, i tried looking for that thread as i remember it but i dunno what i do when i search but i never seem to find what i wanna look for! Cubes, thanks for that but isn't that referring to camshafts rather than cam gears? I think i'll let Shaun just fiddle with it on the dyno, as long as i have it setup safe to drive for a while i'll be happy!
  12. What record is that if you dont mind me asking?
  13. i'm guessing u ran that time in another state? Anyway back on topic, i guess its each to their own joel! Maybe once i'm old like you i'll want an auto, hehe but for now i love my hills and punching it through corners so i'm going to stick with my manual but i can't wait til the end of the year once you have the auto and some more power so you can take me for a spin!
  14. hope to be out there sometime next year, have a few things to do first!
  15. cheers mate, its a non vvt rb25de head from a 32 on a 3 litre bottom end if that makes a difference. Do the actual cam gears need to be in a certain spot before i put the timing belt back on?
  16. i believe these are 33GTR rims? If i'm right and they r genuine then this is a bargain price!
  17. What Andrew said!!!!!!!^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Joel you said just yesterday that you wanted to stick with the manual? what suddenly changed your mind? I don't care about the lag part, with the torque of the rb30 who cares, i'd rather have a bit of fun with the manual than fall asleep with an auto, its just cheating. I also thought that you couldn't run a power fc with a nissan auto?
  18. got some cam gears for my 32 and i'm just checking that when installing them ready for tuning its best just to set them both to zero? EDIT: I've just finished installing my adjustable cam gears and now the cars idle is extremely rough and eventually stalls, my ignition timing on my power fc is on about 20? Don't have a timing light so can't check it that way! Anyone got any ideas what it could be? I made sure the harmonic balancer lines were at tdc aswell as having both the cam gears at 0 (figured i'd let my tuner play around with whats best) PLEASE HELP!!!!
  19. putting the 25/26 head on actually lowers the compression!
  20. bugger, let me know if we can work something out! might be a little pricey though us both sending rims interstate.
  21. where you located? very interested and just hope your in adelaide!
