  1. cheers mate, did a search in the DIY but i obviously didn't do it right!
  2. pretty sure s15's are side feed, rb26's are top feed!
  3. i just got back from the drive-in's where i saw this movie, i went in expecting nothing and came out pretty pleased, i can honestly say i really liked it, the black 350z was tough, no stickers on it was what did it for me i reckon. And on the evo topic there's a guy here in S.A called Tom Monkhouse now drifting an evo and doing quite well, i'll see if i can find a pic!
  4. hehe, that would be me, car had been sitting in the shed for a couple of months so i finally decided i had to brave the cold and give her a good wash, she actually looks half deasant when clean!
  5. willall/martin donnon is know here in S.a for giving out higher than normal dyno readings!
  6. Dunno if ashley is the best guy to speak to at graham west, brett is your man!
  7. mmmm, me too! small world!
  8. cheers fella's, all done!
  9. has anyone actually got one of these on there car? I'm in need of one and the price seems pretty good but i want something that is of good quality! any feedback?????????????
  10. in Adelaide there's probably only 3 people i would consider seeing to get my car tuned! John Keen - Hi tech Dyno Shaun Dunns - Boostworx Brett - Graham West (Adelaide Performance Engineering) 99% of the people in the S.a section will agree with me on those 3 people! As for the Rb30 bottom end i've got an rb30 in my 32 and it is definitely well worth it! You only need to read some of the 190 odd page thread in the forced induction section to see that but its not straight forward and would require your car being off the road for a period of time. The other major factor is the cost, if done properly its not that cheap seeing 250rwkw's!
  11. got myself some damper adjustable GAB shocks that i'm trying to put into my 32 as we speak and i'm just wondering if the adjustment nob should be facing towards the outside of the car or in towards the diff? Also these shock are a little higher than the ones i had in there previously amd i'm having a lot of trouble getting the bottom eye into the bolt! Any ideas? cheers!
  12. i'm looking to install my pineapples myself into my 32gts-t in the 'all-round' position. I've done a search and found a few threads that helped a little but i was hoping there might be someone who took photos while doing theres and wouldn't mind sharing them with me. Preferably in the all round position in a 32 gts-t but i'm sure there aren't too many differences between the models when installing them! cheers!
  13. The standard bar defintely fits, got it on there now! I'll have to get some exact measurements cause i'm not sure exactly where its fouling i think its more than just on the sump, will get back to you with what i decide to do! Cheers!
  14. If you guys weren't up watching that game then you can't call yourself a true AUSSIE! First 80 odd minutes, A BIT BORING TO BE HONEST! Last 10 or so minutes, the best soccer i have watched ever! The second goal that CAHILL scored was awesome! If any of you softies taped it just fast forward to the last 15 minutes and watch from there! GO AUSSIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. ye, got the new 044 and getting the valve springs next week, fingers crossed it should help!
  16. it was just a dyno day that some car club organised and i thought i'd go on there to see if i could see valve float and just to compare it to another dyno! Ye it stopped at 6500rpm cause thats what i set the rev limiter to! And as you can see it pulled hard to there and held the power really well and didn't drop off till he backed off, he said its an awesome graph and hasn't seen anything like it since he had his xr6t on there, even the gtr whilst making more power the graph was nowhere near as good. he said i could bring it back this week and i could put it back on they dyno and he'd strap it down properly this time as he thinks its still slipping, (free of charge) which i'm thinking i might do and put that oxygen sensor in that you gave me to see if its all good!
  17. as u can see the graph is really good which doesn't help me in finding why it isn't making the power it should. Its making awesome torque and the guy running the dyno was amazed at the torque the thing was pulling, on my first run it was slipping on the dyno so he had to strap it down even more! 1. i've checked everywhere for air/vacuum/boost leaks 2. thought the cam gear timing might be out but that would cause it to run rich/lean and it not
  18. that oxygen sensor u gave me a while back! Do you remember if it was working perfectly? As you'll be able to see from my dyno graph it runs a bit rich to start with a shaun mentioned something about him thinking it was on its way out and the tuner said yesterday that when it was on the dyno to begin with it was running very rich but got better once it warmed up! So if yours is ok i'll put that one on!
  19. ok, i'll message u on yours and julie's phone to let you know when i'll be coming round! i'll post up my graph from yesterdays dyno day!
  20. I'm going up to my parents tomorrow so i can pop round if you like and you can check things out and i'll take you for a spin! I don't really wanna run more than 15 psi though! I'm getting my valve springs next weekend off sky30, maybe we could do it together one weekend? I've been told to get a spark plug and drill the guts out and solder an air fitting on for some compressed air to make it easier to pop them out!
  21. haha, prorbably from one of the locals up there near pt pirie who happens to spend a bit too much time near the petty station, hehe!
  22. that sux dude, hope it doesn't cost too much to fix!
  23. no i wasn't! heard plenty about it though! I've just heard more bad stories than good about airbags! My mate hit a car in his parents new mazda 3 doing about 20 kms an hour and ended up with a broken nose and whiplash, if the airbag didn't come out he would've just been stuck with the nasty excess. But i'm sure there's plenty of stories like Drew's where airbags have saved many lives!
  24. Well my car went on the dyno the car before this GTR and only made 214rwkw's compared to a few weeks ago making 228rwkw's on the BOOSTWORX dyno that is renownd for being pretty accurate or even perhaps a little low and i have made absolutely no changes since then! This GTR had an R34 engine with the N1 turbos with a 3.5" exhaust and 19psi, that was the only mods! I guess he could've been lying about his mods but i looked over the car very carefully for a long time with him and it looked pretty damn stock and definitely didn't have an aftermarket comp. (Joel, my car wasn't showing any signs of valve float and we revved the car up to 6500rpm! And it was making max power before 6500rpm. This is leading me to think that the valve float isn't causing me to not make the power i should be! I'm thinking it could be something else but i can't for the life of me think what it is!)
