thanks for the help guys, is it best to get the vrs gasket kit from a nissan dealer or is there somewhere that sells them a little cheaper? Also should i just use gasket glue for putting the sump back on?

ok, bottom end is fully rebuilt and i now have the head (rb25de non vvt) Here's my shopping list for sometime this week, if there's anything there that looks wrong or not needed etc please let me know. 1. Series 1 RB25DET oil pump (dunno where to get this apart from nissan - big$$$) 2. Rb30e water pump 3. Timing/cam belt 4. Rb30e genuine metal head gasket 5. Rb20 thermostat and thermostat housing 6. Rb25 VRS Gasket kit Cheers guys!

I’m in the process of building up an rb30 twin cam turbo engine using all the na rb30 gear and the na non vvt rb25 head! I have had the bottom end already fully rebuilt and have just purchased the head! What i basically need doing is: 1) Pulley’s relocated, drilled and tapped 2) Check the cylinder head itself and reseat the valves and machine the head if necessary 3) Bolt head to bottom end with head gasket 4) Put timing belt on and torque to around 20kg’s 5) I’m hoping for a compression ratio of around 8.2:1, was hoping you could check if possible 6) I’m also hoping for a squish (quench) Deck height + head gasket thickness of 1mm to 1.37mm. What i'm basically after is a workshop/engine builder you guys would recommend i take this to get done?

Mate is selling his series 2 RB30 bottom end. Was doing the twin cam conversion like myself but has decided to put an RB25 in his car instead. Not much to tell u apart from its in pretty good nick and is mostly disassembled. Pretty much everything is there that u would expect to be. Think the only thing missing is the pulley. Any questions just ask, i should be able to answer most and if i can't i'll give u his mobile number! $150

was doing some searching today, looking for some rear r32 coilovers but wasn't having much luck, a couple of the guys said that i could use rear silvia coilovers cause they were exactly the same but i wasn't too sure! Is this true?

is there something like this for fitting a cooler to an r32?

Is this the t04b or t04e? is any of the t04 range ballbearing?

well i run stanadard ecu at the moment so i guess i'm a poof, unlike your good self i don't make a heap of money so a programmable ecu hasn't come into my budget yet, i sincerely apologise! (if u couldn't tell i was bein sarcastic!)
