sorry to be a little off topic but why do some people call this conversion an RB31DET and others call it a RB30DET?

i thought u had a gt35r joel? as soon as i have my engine stand i'll be able to get started on mine *hint, hint* joel, nah just kidding! anyway great results on the dyno and its good to see that i'll still be able to have good results using the little turbo while i save up for a bigger and better hairdryer while running her in!

everyones going to tell u to do a search mate, been covered a million times but cause i was once new too i'll tell u that yes it is a straight swap!

Picked up my bottom end today, pretty good score i believe! Its a 1988 R31 bottom end with only 168,000kms! Looks to be in great nick, will start taking it apart soon and giving everything a good clean and inspection. Manged to score it for $150 Finally the journey of the RB30/25 begins! (8/4/05) I guess we'll see how long it takes but i know that i can't wait to turn over the key!

i have 18x8.5 on the front and rear of my 32, front is lowered and only scrapes a little when on full lock and the rears never scrape but has standard shocks and springs (no guard rolling)

mine was on the intercooler piping just after the tb, the little bit that comes off, not sure what its called!

we should try organise a skid pan day, i'd be in on it and i know a few mates who would!

well i can beat that by a mile, think i can get it done for less than half that! Dunno if i can get the lip re-machined though! Well My deal is i'm a boilermaker and the company i work for gets things powdercoated so i can get things done for how much they can! I think the last time i checked the price was $20-$25 a rim to get powdercoated thats as long as you prep them yourself like getting the tyres off etc. I think that sandblasting (if needed) costs around $30-$35 a rim.

had a similair problem, think it may be a boost leak, was on mine anyway and fixed the problem straight away!
