  1. i may not make it in time for this gearbox builder says nissan has ceased production of early model R32 gts4 parts. Anyone have a R33 GTR gearbox for sale? PM me if you do.....
  2. It will be good to finally meet you Gerald! If the gts4 gearbox is rebuilt in time (which it should be, its at the rebuilders now) i'll be there.
  3. +1 thread fail
  4. are you using the stock flywheel and did you need to get it machined or anything to clean it up? I'm about to make a decision between the exedy HD Button like you have and a Exedy Racing Clutch Stage 1 sports ceramic, which is only $270 more.... http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/ex...23334-p-82.html
  5. Just wondering why its gone up to $60 to race, when any sunday test & tune is $50 normal price and only $15 to spectate.... it won't stop me going, but any reasons?
  6. i get full boost (18psi) at 4000rpm or maybe just below that in the gts4. GT-RS is the best turbo for the RB20, get one Pat you know you want one! that said, i'm pretty happy with the HKS2510 on the gtst response almost like stock.....
  7. pics don't seem to be working...
  8. Finally a pubic figure that has enough balls to say it like it is. Hamilton should have done the same. Webber for PM!!!!

  15. i'll add to this but i don't see much point if we can't discuss it in the thread... I've only played it for a couple of hours and the last time i played was 2 years ago GT4 on PS2....thats my excuse but i'll know there's still room for improvement Mode: Tuned Controller Type: stock controller (planning to buy a G27 this week) View: behind and above? 16. anyone from here had their grey 33 at jonny macs today? saw it up on the hoist...
  17. i've used them a few times a couple of years ago. Friendly guys and they did a good job, can't complain about the prices either. I had them fit up a Trust exhaust & front pipe to my S15 and they made up a cat-back system for my dads VX commo.
  18. yup, i got done in SA 3 or 4 years ago and 3 points still went on my vic license....

if its the one with the chrome wheels then i've seen it on mercer a few days ago. Just came back from work through Malop. Followed a silver 34 with plates QBHIND - are you on here? Saw you getting followed by a feral ute too close so you let him by...then i was next behind
  21. damn, your selling!?! I'll miss seeing it on the GOR cruise such a nice 32, i hope the new owner looks after it! oh, what % are the tints? look awesome.
  22. i've been running the justjap rad for over 2 years no problems.....i might try another thermostat to see if the one i got from nissan is faulty.
  23. yeah, the nissan thermostat has a arrow indicating where the top of the themostat should be positioned, which is next to the little air valve. The factory manual refers to it as a "jiggle valve".
  24. yeah, i tested the old one and it opened. But i've been told by a mechanic that its different if it gets hot from both sides like when you drop it into a jug of boiling water compared to just one end when its installed in the car. In the car it would only heat a specific area of one side. and no, i installed it fine. just like the factory one and no gasket glue was on it when i pulled it out to take to nissan. Which reminds me i should go back to nissan and get that new one back before they forget about it....
  25. i need some ideas on the following: I've put in a new nissan thermostat recently (RB20) to replace my old one that had apparently seized up and stopped working. I mean that it was not letting water circulate through the radiator and so the lower radiator hose was stone cold despite the top one being quite hot and water temps on the PFC showing 95 degrees. Normal water temps for my R32 were about 78-80. So i put in the new thermostat and the problem is still there! But i've tried running without a thermostat at all and the temps barely get to 60 after a 1/2 hour of driving in the city. So the water pump is circulating water through the radiator (40mm just jap) just fine when there is no thermostat at all. Could it be a case of a faulty genuine thermostat? Nissan say they tested it and refuse to give me another one.... Before the stock thermostat seized up the car was running perfect for the last few years. It's not like it is a gradual build up of gunk in the cooling system, it worked fine on the way to work and on the way back stuffed itself! i've flushed to radiator and block and the water was pretty clean with no rust at all. And i've got a new water pump installed too. Can anyone shed some light on this?
