  6. GOLD! thats the funniest thing i've heard all week
  7. sweet, next time i go see my relo's i'll go to one of these but most of the roads around poland are pretty crap unfortunatley
  8. maybe the omega or that AC low profile jack i put a link to is the go. The exchange rates are favorable at the moment to get one from the US. I'll buy one that is low enough to reach under the front cross member....
  9. hey Jace, i've sent u a pm. we've got a problem....
  10. the reason it doesn't fit is that you had a cut down GTS bonnet and not a genuine aluminium GTR bonnet. Therefore the latch is for a GTS and won't fit a c/f GTR bonnet. i've sent u a pm!
  11. cheers dude, can't wait for it to arrive!
  12. as promised here's mine from 3 weeks ago at mt buller. Its not snow but a fair bit of hail - i struggled to walk on it as the road was steep anyway and it was like walking on marbles
  13. i was up at Mt Buller 3 weeks ago. It was raining on the way up and near the top it had been hailing heaps. I was in the S15 and even in second gear taking corners you could feel the car had no grip sliding everywhere....when i get home i'll post up a few pics. awesome hill climb though, the next day was dry and sunny so we were able to enjoy the touge.
  14. this is a good comparison of jacks: http://www.vorshlag.com/tech_jacks4.php i like the AC Hydraulics DK13HLQ - its got a ultra long reach low profile for crossmembers that sit so far back. http://www.vorshlag.com/tech/floorjacks/bmw_jack.jpg or how about this jack - its soo cheap: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/disp...temnumber=91039
  15. yeah, 100mm isn't low profile at all, my crossmember is about 11cm if not 10 off the ground....
  16. I like how that Blue-Point jack has a rubber seat/mount - much better than just a steel cup imo. how much $$$ we looking at?
  17. i'm also after a low profile jack. If its a good price i'll definitely buy one.
  18. too many questions, lol. Straight 6's are definitely the smoothest running - i read that in a recent issue of Motor Mag .
  19. what part of melb are you at? west side?
  20. PM replied! i'm surprised it hasn't sold yet......except to me
