  1. yeah looks like you guys had a few nice GTR's turn up...
  2. people that complain about the track knowing full well when they moved in that they had a circuit next door are total idiots WTF would they move in if they didn't like motorsport!?!!!? i wish i lived next to a track
  3. its nice, but your set up using HKS 2535 & cam gears to get that 217 on Sams dyno makes for a pretty sweet package - certainly something i need to aim for with cam gears
  4. if we're purely talking about power/acceleration, then the 2510 is easier to keep up with traffic as i don't have to rev it more to get decent boost/speed. and combined with the lighter weight of the gtst, makes it drive more like my dads stock S15
  5. swap for your gtr bar!??!?
  6. yup, the gts4 has the HKS GTRS and the new gtst has the HKS 2510. I love being able to pick which one i'll drive to work each day however now it 'money pit' x2 - but i don't care
  7. ^^^ as above, lets see some before & after dyno sheets showing no loss of midrange. Shaun @ Boostworx has even seen a RIPS plenum hold back peak power over the stocker - so after hearing that i need real world results before money is parted.
  8. haha, mine struggles for traction in second even on 14psi with the stock rims/crappy tyres and huge midrange of the mighty 2510 i'll update everyone once Sam has played with the tune & increased boost - should be interesting to see if it can crack 200rwkw on Sams dyno....
  9. Love that front bar - thats one sweet looking Z. 213rwkw is pretty good on DrDrifts dyno at such a low boost! Only problem i see is that its auto look forward to seeing you on a cruise!
  10. full boost should be around 3200rpm but i haven't really looked - just got this 32 recently. mods are the usual: z32 afm GTR injectors PowerFC full exhaust cooler Bosch 040 pump etc I'm pretty happy with it so far - but buying a skyline with a mechanical LSD tends to do that At this stage the GTS4 GTRS is quicker but that might change....GTST has a huge weight advantage.... I told Sam that you tried cams and made less power than without - he suggested that perhaps your "wrecker" motor might have reground cams without you even realising or are you convinced that those 'stock' cams really are stock.
  11. i've always like the drifteks. can i ask what size tyres are you using in that pic first from left? are they 235_45 all round or only on the back with a smaller size fronts?
  12. I've got a 2510 & at 19psi made 208rwkw @ Boostworx in Adelaide. MASSIVE RESPONSE! just about better than stock i reckon Shouldn't need a bigger oil feed cause its a ball bearing core & they don't require much oil flow as they're water cooled too. My GTRS came with a tiny oil feed restrictor......too much oil flow no good for turbo seals either..?
  13. i hear ya dude, i got stuck behind him for what seemed like ages before i found a straight to pass he looked like he didn't even care that he wasn't keeping up with the pack ahead - next time no slow 300ZX's please
  14. now thats a great pic we need to organise a R32 only group photo
  15. They should be good for at least 240rwkw on the RB20. There's a guy on the forums that has made 270rwkw on an RB25. The GTRS has to be some kind of evolution/step forward compared to the old HKS2530 & 2540. They wouldn't have stopped producing them otherwise..?
  16. I've got a HKS GTRS and i'm very happy with it. Full boost about 3800rpm. You can get them new for around $2300 now.
  17. you will certainly need a decent front mount intercooler to make repeatable power runs - the stock side mount one heat soaks very easily.
  18. why buy rx7 ones for $600 when you can get Nismo 555cc for RB20 (no resistor required) for $780 6x Nismo 555cc injectors - pink - R32 GTST, R32 GTR, R33 GTR, R34 GTR - $780 delivered http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=178105 imo its the best option
  19. just finished washing my 32
  20. i'm down! what times are they running on the weekend?
  21. this sux $60/month unlimited - ripoff!
  22. Hey Berin, i'll be waiting at the same place as we did for the official cruise on the surf coast hwy.
  23. just watch out for bacon - you dun need to be shafted before next weeks cruise! imo - sat nights are bad to venture east
