if your sense thinks that having an exhaust/bov etc qualifies as a offence that justifies a $$$ penalty, then you obviously think that these modifictions seriously warrant a car unsafe or "defective" so as to endanger your well being.....and so therefore you must be grateful that bracks and his new laws step in to protect you from harm......

i have an xforce muffler and i have heard a full xforce exhaust on a r33 rb25det and it sounds as deep as you get. Also my dads S15 has a xforce rear muffler and sounds better than quite a few sr's with other exhausts. Even reving it it sounded pretty deep. Definitely not 'tinny' lol, before i had actually heard these exhausts myself, i also though that they wouldn't sound that great. I was quite hapy to be proved wrong considering the cheap price Also the stainless steel is 304 grade and a good thickness: you can tell the quality of the steel & baffling by picking up a good muffler and comparing to a cheap autobarn muffler, the autobarn ones are very light because they are thin steel and not very well packed (hence will sound raspy or tinny).

210rwkw to get 105mph, but it was a hot day so prob lost a few kw....

have a look here: http://www.xforce.com.au/mufflers/mufflers.html the 4"x10" oval resonator is what i'm using and its pretty quiet for just 1 muffler. You definitely don't need 2 mufflers to get a quiet exhaust

35rwkw! haha no way, if i get an extra 10-15rwkw i'll be more than happy The main thing is to get boost sooner....

some name brand exhausts, require the hangers to be modified on the cat-back part of the exhaust as they make them to suit gtst not gts4's. Not really a big problem for any half decent exhaust shop... Or get a stainless custom system like i have, costs a bit more but you get to chose angle of rear muffler and pipe diameter (go minimum 3inch or even 4inch). to save costs if you going the custom route, use only 1 decent muffler and don't bother with expensive cats.

? easy. -your using 3psi more than me. -your a/f ratios are far leaner than mine, you had close to 13:1 afr. -External gate will always make more power because of less restriction -you have tuned lenght s/s manifold. and i have stock cast. -you have properly tuned cam gears... & even in rwd my gts4 will have more drivetrain loss than a true rwd. that will account for more kw than the actual turbo sizes.

I remember Sydneykid saying that a straight pipe makes up to 10rwkw more than a gutted cat , because the flow is straight instead of expanding into a chamber and then narrowing back to 3"...... hmm, maybe i need to try straight pipe :sorcerer:

after last night, i don't think you can really get any better package then what you already have for a RB20 244rwkw with response of a GTRS is pretty much as good as your gonna get.....i mean without going the rb25 route, you will have to spend alot of $$ for not much more gain.....however, some nice 264 cams would no doubt make things interesting
