  1. i don't think you need to.
  2. LOL, thats gold!
  3. thats a good price though! and who cares, he wants to sell it in vic so he posts in vic....
  4. This is what happens when moneys no problem......................
  5. Did you get around to dynoing it when you first got it on the road? What kind of power did you get?
  6. ok its working now
  7. That link dosn't seem to be working?
  8. Nice vids, just need high quality Did any other D1NZ drivers come over?
  9. I've got a bit of surge in my highflowed R34 GTT turbo but its always in 5th gear just as boost comes on strong. And like you, it goes away after about 4500rpm. Can i ask what kind of power you are getting at the wheels with that turbo? as UAS reckon its "GOOD FOR APPROXIMATELY 260KW AT THE WHEELS" off their website. When in the RPM range does full boost come on?
  10. I had my box rebuilt by Simon at CGB (Competition GearBoxes), great guy and a good price so far after 10months I've had no problems Give him a call on 03 97536906 or 0408 650 060 he's in ferntree gully
  11. I take it he will also be competing on sunday, or will he only be at the saturday practice?
  12. When i had a crunching noise when changing from 3rd to 4th i tried changing the oil but it didn't help, It ended up being a stuffed 4th gear syncro which was easy enough to change when i had the box rebuilt Its probably not want you want to hear but this is the only way to completely fix the problem...
  13. Did you have any luck with that silicone? I'm maybe also developing the same problem, but it may save me hassles if i just invest in the splitfires for about $700. Which auto electrician do you go to? I was told that the one on Gordon Ave is pretty good.
  14. Cool I should be there supporting on the sunday
  15. WTF!!?? Who said i was going anywhere?, you posted a link and I commented on the offer. If you are happy to pay that price, then thats all that matters! I'm just comparing the prices on the link YOU posted. :talk2hand
  16. I don't think you can achieve a real 200rwkw with the small stock injectors, from the dyno i have experience with, the stock injectors will max out 180rwkw and by then the mixtures will be fairly lean at that.
  17. Last year i went to a dyno day at AVO held by the Pulsar GTiR club and i paid $35 for 2 power runs on their 4wd dyno. As for A/F mixtures, they check those during the power run anyway as well as listening for detonation all at the same time. I still don't see why brand new dyno rollers have to be set up for every car, if its a case of moving the rollers a bit to adjust for different chassis/wheel lenghts, it only takes about a minute...
  18. Why do they charge $20 more for a 4wd power run than a 2wd? I'm not going to mention that $60 for a dyno day event per car isn't the best deal either.
  19. I'm loving this thread! keep it going
  20. Well they won't be nismo ones because they are pink, so i dunno....
  21. Fuel consumption has got a lot better now that i'm running the stock ecu chipped, especially for highway cruising compared with the microtech that i previously had.
  22. Hi Joel, I have a set of 555cc nismo injectors in my RB20. I actually had them checked for flow before i installed them and the results showed that they all flowed Exactly the same amount - 600cc. So yeah, im happy with them but i can't comment on fuel economy as i had a bigger turbo and stuff put on at the same time
  23. Can you do air/fuel ratio and boost curve printouts? If so, you can count me in depending on date
  24. I'm also polish, but mostly a kiwi and some aussie. can speak but not write....
  25. LOL, I'm not going to add anything to this topic as Roy has pretty much summed up my experiences of owning a microtech - a lot more cons than pros. REDFC: you need this sign -> :newbie:
