  1. Hey, me too i live about 800m from bellarine hwy and use the remote start before i get going in the morning cause its a pain getting upto speed on a busy morning. But i don't really give a sh1t, i just take my time to get to 100 - who cares if you hold up a lane of traffic? the well being of your cars much more important I live just off melaluka, off cypress cres. Where abouts are u? Dalton is good, they charge much less than shops in melb, but they don't have a 4wd dyno. But i usually take the line to melb to get work done - RiggaP knows...
  2. hehe, my names phil too I'm from leopold and used to get dalton to do work on my car. Where abouts is "Geelong Tune Up"? I've never even heard of them.
  3. where did you get the car dynoed? was it in geelong?
  4. YAY!!!! :headspin: :aroused: More, more, more!!!
  5. haha, hey sam, i can see my self in your sig 7th from left in the red shirt front row Phil
  6. lol, i was even up at Port Pirie so don't worry you SA dude have alot better roads than VIC, take my word for it. Or just cruise down to melb some time... Haha, don't worry Steve, I was driving a VX S commo with just a exhaust, he did have a look at it though... Anyway if thats the correct amount, well theres nothing left to do but pay it :bs!: thats what i thought, as in vic the fine is much less if its under 15km/h Thanks for your help guys
  7. Hi guys, After a recent trip to Adelaide, I was on my way out on the M1 highway when i got pulled over for doing 126km/h in a 110 zone by 2 cops hiding behind trees on motorbikes and fined $240. Anyway, I kinda think the $240 fine is a bit too much just for going 16 over the limit, i think in Victoria its about $180, so i was wondering if you guys know if this amount is correct or point me in the direction of a SA website that has the fines listed for speeding. BTW - love the adelaide roads, there so much better than fu(ken potholed sh1tty bumpy vic roads! Best bit of road is the M1 up to Murray Bridge, i reckon its the best bit of road i've been on in australia :headspin:
  8. hehe, just like in HPI with tomei pistons and gtr rods, Don't forget the trust IHI old turbo kit with ex gate. i reckon its cool that the trust kit still uses the original manifold - saves buying a new one
  9. As long as its not overrun by rotors :jk:
  10. Its exactly like a r32 gtr, only when the rears are slipping does the torque get transfered to the front. I might add that my worst understeer happens in the wet at low speed, in the dry its not so bad but only cause you have to push it alot harder to lose traction!
  11. You can probably put me down for the next S K Y L I N E dyno day you guys have, with a high reading dyno like that how can i say no?
  12. Yeah, i get massive low speed understeer aswell. Once i almost understeered right off a little roundabout into another car! (i wasn't trying to go fast either) My suspension work is limited to a set of kingsprings and koni shocks, which came with the car when i bought it 1.5 years ago.
  13. Have you got any suspension work done when you go to phillip island? How does the GTS4 handle on the track? It's another one of those things that im still planning on doing. am i right to say that when you got that 14.1 it was done with the stock turbo? My turner (Dr Drift @ XTC) rekons a mid to high 12 is possible with a good launch seeing as that 210kw was done on a conservative dyno.
  14. lol, so funny
  15. Of course its manual! Some of the mods i have are: Full 3' exhaust Hi flowed R34 GTT turbo NISMO 550cc injectors HKS cooler Chipped ecu Z32 airflow meter I used to run a mircotech but that had sh1t economy among other things. Haven't taken it down the 1/4 yet but will do 1 day.
  16. Hi, how much for the dashcluster surround? Does it have the electric switches for the headlights and not just the knob? Feel free to PM me if u want.
  17. Where do you take your car now that BMT closed down? I'm still with Sam at complete auto running on the same type of dyno that BMT had. But this ones 4wd
  18. Haha, you shouldn't be so surprised Paul, I think you forget just how conservative the old BMT dyno was when you cranked you 160kw. Wish i could have made it, Imagine what 210+ would have looked like on the selectmaz dyno
  19. I am still using the stock one on my GTS4 thats making around 217kw @ 4wheels on a conservative dyno. Where abouts are you going to dyno your car? I have dynoed mine on the XTC/complete auto 4wd dyno in coburg.
  20. :werd: I second that, thanks again rage Do you know of any other links to the GIS 3 & 4 movies as the ones you put up don't seem to be working.
  21. edit- pls use pm if not talking about whole cars.. thanks.
  22. Stock it will do high 13s
  23. Same here. The genuine nissan oil filter only costs $9.75 compared with the K&N i was using before which cost $30, good to go with OE products.
  24. RB26DETT can handle 500hp no worries- it all in the tuning, nice and conservative tune will make a stock motor last for years even running big boost. As for the cost of the car, as you worked out its a bargain once you take away the cost of mods. :aroused:
