What compound pads? I started with blues for the track and have just stepped up to HT-10's. Like them a lot but probably could have gone to the HT-60's.
They are way cheaper out of the US just $60 shipping that's a pain.
Yes, please buy your tickets before the event. This is a pre-registration deal. Dealing with those that didn't follow the instructions and get their Eventbrite reg will slow things down for those that did the right thing.
Thanks.
Ok, simmer down people.
And as stated above, SAU NSW has a very strict policy about behavior at our events. This is to keep the car scene healthy and our good standing relation with the popo and public.
Only person on the team to get a dry run was Nick. All others had wet course. Just because Nick was running in another group with the Pulse boys. And wet and heavy cars don't play well. The honda and surprisingly MX5's could go a lot better in the wet.
Hey Ciaron thanks for posting some meet up details. Will see you there from 6.
Also to those that ate coming I might suggest bringing an umbrella, chair and maybe picnic mat.
Be sure and wear you SAU gear if you have it cause we are representing the club.
See you all there. Should be a great
day out.
Agreed. This meet is about a bunch of people that enjoy cars, might have a few parts or just want an owners car show - if you're proud of your car then bring it along.
The event is not limited to just Skylines. We just happen to be hosting and coordinating the event.
It will be a great day out with lots of cars and enthusiasts of all generations of cars.
Wrap up thread over there folks. Sorry I didn't start it last night. Got home and crashed hard after the F1.
Post ur stuff over there > http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/440612-texi-its-a-wrap/
Wrap up thread for texi. Post all your photos and stories here.
Thanks to all the helpers that ran the day. And thanks to the few entrants that stayed around to pick up the tyre shreds.
