I ported mine back in November. Started with a Dremel and immediately saw that wasn't going to work. Use a air diegrinder. If you don't have a carbide cutter I got mine in the router section at bunnings. Was like $25 or something like that. I was surprised that it chewed little iron shavings out of the cast manifold pretty well. I just used the gasket to port match. Took me about an hour or hour + 1/2 to do two manifolds. Oh, and wear a face shield if you have it. Lots of little iron filings fly everywhere.

Just an FYI this was the result of a lot of back ground coordination with Rob and the 300ZX folks. We're going to try to meet up at our start point, but logistically difficult to fit all the cars at their destination. Hence the change in our route. Come out and show Eric & Kylie how great the whole automotive community is!

Well, at least my GTR was finally spotted. It's been sitting in the garage for 3 months! hehe. Nice to see you out enjoying the sunshine too.

Took the GTR out for drive down McCarr's Creek Road though Church point. Saw a couple of other skylines and gave a wave. They were doing the same but in the opposite direction cause I saw them twice

I'm going to try to get a couple of execs to pitch in some ideas about meet up points. I know everyone in here is trying to assist and some good feedback and ideas. It's just a logistical nightmare considering all the cars and other clubs that will be in attendance facing the exact same dilemma. Remember, the other clubs will be going through this same discussion, hence why I say expect all close in side streets, lots, etc to be a bit chockers. Also, we want to ensure that this event doesn't become a drama for the local businesses. If they complain then it could cause problems for the organisers.

Some nice work in there. I really like the fisheye, dolly and slider work. For a short vid, say max 2-3 minutes just altering angles and glamour shots like you did work well. Any longer and it starts to get repetitive and you have to find a way to break up the repetition. Find interesting stuff in the location and do some sliders and pans on it. Say the refection of a flouro light or a cement beam. Video is interesting because you can take an ordinary object say like that painted cement beam and using fixed focus and slider slide down to focus and thereby make it an interesting to watch, but a real tease to the viewer cause they are wondering, when will the car come into the shot... and it doesn't. Think of it kind of like striptease when doing glamour stuff. The viewer wants the glorious glamour visuals but if you give it to them all the time they get bored of it. You need to string them out and make them want it a bit. I do this also by mixing macro shots in, like emblems, stickers, small details and some shots from the location that are totally irrelevant to the subject. Watch Top Gear UK, they are masters at this. The dark area with good color balance and lighting highlights was pretty good. That can be really tough to get right. I also noticed that a few of your focus pulls went just a little too far. It came into focus but then overshot.

We will have a trader booth but it isn't big enough to have all the club members. Club members that want to be together should arrange a meet up point before so that they arrive together. I imagine there will be both VIP and non-VIP SAU members.

Guys I keep saying this. Expect 1800+ cars! Any location within 5 k's will be chockers!
