Try gapping down your plugs to 0.6-0.65. I just did that and sorted my cutting problem at 0.8 Bar. Now good all the way to 1.4 Bar. I think my coils are loosing power so confirms that it is spark related. Running that gap now with no probs at all, until the shop warms up to re-mount my coils (I run bosch coil set-up).

Saw a clean looking Gunmetal R32 with a vented bonet turning onto Waterloo from Lane Cove Rd this morning on my way to work.

Wraith is in my collection. Love that guy with the crazy hair saying "It's a Wraith man! and evil spirit or somthing." And of course Gutter Boy and Skank - lol! Hard to believe we thought that long tail dodge was that shiat back in the day. Look how high it is! And pretty young Sherilyn Fenn in it too - hubba hubba. If you like really cheesy 70/80's car movies there was this B-rate jobbie with Ron Howard - Eat My Dust. He steals a race car camaro and proceeds to outrun the cops everywhere. Basically a rip off of smokie and the bandit.
-
My car was over so they just had this metal mesh butt plug they put up the tail pipe. I ran all day without problem.

You on the grog early Pete? So Passengers have to buy a license to ride (not drive), really?
-
Hey Pete, are passengers allowed? I also have a workmate here that may come out (with one or more of her cars). Assume one entry per car?

I think you're supposed to prefix questions in your thread title with "EOI" - Expression Of Inquisition. :nyaanyaa:

I find it very funny that most people complain about it being dead in here these days and yet you flame people that are trying to raise interest. My view - this is an open forum, that's what it is for.

Did you mean Micro 4/3? I use a Panasonic GH2. Probably the best kit in it's price range for shooting HD video. It also does a really good job on photos too. They also have lower end G3 - Panasonic and Leica are partners. Also the hardest downside on 4/3 right not is the lack of fast oem lenses. I have an adapter that will allow the use of older style Canon FD lens for cheap alternative.

Oh and to guys that are going for times you won't go through that may tyres. All this "how many spare sets do I bring" talk make sit in new folks minds. Even when I though I was being hard on mine laying down some 4-wheel drifting I didn't notice that much wear and they were uber soft Pirellis! So don't let tyre wear concerns keep you from coming out. It's only the cars that fill the track with smoke that go through tyres. The rest of us drive there on our daily set, run some courses, rip some reasonable skidz and drive home on the same set.

Wow great thread Yavuz! On the video front I can bring in two cameras + go pro to put something together for a single run, say after work sometime. Getting good sound is always difficult because cars like this at full noise are way over the normal db limit of most mics. Best to have an separate external recording - even an iphone farther away so that it isn't blown out as db goes over the limit. I did some youtube videos from the SAU dyno day - Steve-O's car & Mine. (My equipment and skills have gotten a lot better since then).

Spotted Michael in his Silver R32 GTR turning from Lane Cove onto Lady Game Drive today. Actually I've seen him a couple of times last week but was stealthy in the Mazda3. Today was in the GTR to hopefully he saw me too. Also saw a really nice clean white R33 GTS-T go past as I turned into the Shell Servo on Lane Cove Road.
-
So odd seeing all that retro muscle in the Skyline spotted thread! - an the domestic GTR! lol.
-
Is your car really lowered? If so then you may have bumpsteer alignment issues. You can't overly lower a GTR without really screwing up the bump steer and wider stickier tires will make it seem like the car is jolting around more. I just had the rear bushes replaced and it made an amazing amount of difference. What other stuff do you have done to the car?

Matt you so funneh! Here is today's update. Local Markets and Marble Mountain. Was so so hot that I'm actually losing interest in lugging the camera around. (Oh and the markets were the stinkiest I've ever visited. Barrels of dried fish and a whole bunch of "fresh" fish at one end).

Updated a few more photos. I did get some suits made up but in Thailand. Got a lot of cheap silk ties here in Vietnam though.
-
So here are a few lightly edited pics from Vietnam. Still on holiday there so can only do slight adjustments on the laptop. Can't wait to get home (actually I can) to see what I can do with them on the hefty-er machine. Anyways, great place here in Hoi An. Tonight we change over to Da Nang - which looked more "beach resort-ish".

S A U N S W Texikhana @ Sutton Rd Wrap Up Thread

+1 to what Shell said. Most of the racing venues are having the noise issues. This is how the public shuts down our sport. To those that want to run events you need to put a plumback pipe for your open gate. I love the sound too, but it is illegal on the street and any venue that is close to residential or even industrial will have noise restrictions. -
Thought we were going for non-commercial stuff here Pat. Love Harris's stuff but I'd hardly call his stuff non-commercial. Here's a nice video I picked up on Vimeo today. http://player.vimeo.com/video/41114269 (EDIT - can't get the embed to work. oh well HD video is better full screen anyways)

I saw a yellow 34 in Paramatta a week back but only caught a glimpse of flowing blonde hair out of the corner of my eye. So I guess Shell has a doppleganger!
