  1. they are 80mm. some of the yanks dont know how to measure when using mm's as they are stuck in the old time with their imperial denominations and they also measure the od, not the id of the throttle body. and you dont have to worry too much about dodgy prducts with tb's as there is not much to them. the only thing that can really stuff is the sensor and you can find thhem for about $10-20 each, i have plenty lying around. Ariel
  2. check out ebay.com (no .au) there are plenty in the us or nicoclub.com (a great US nissan site) and they are usually cheaper than on ebay. or if you like a custom one, i can get those for you. Ariel
  3. pm sent. for others interested in the loom. i am not interested in the loom just everything, including all sensors, ign coils, etc. as long as the price drops accordingly.
  4. is the rb25de still for sale and complete ?
  5. is the head complete with cams, cam wheels, covers etc
  6. where are you located ? interested in the plenum
  7. please send pics of head to [email protected]. interested in head, belt, inlet and covers
  8. those trumpets need to have a completely rolled bellmouth/bead to be even better than what you claim. stainless is not the most friendly material when building inlet manifolds. its tendency to retain heat would be the most unattractive feature, especially on the inlet side of a force fed engine. as for the single divider, good in theory, but they have a tendency to reduce flow to the runners either side of the ports. but best of luck, something new is always good. if you were to run splitters i would recommend two spliters and pair the cylinders as there will be sufficient area either side of the splitter (and bellmouth) for the port to draw air from, which would not be available with a splitter between 3 & 4. a little bit more work would be required but the end result is what counts.
  9. they are rumoured to be sufficient for around the 700hp mark and hence why i would waste my time making one unless you wanted over 700hp.
  10. i just found this after being on a US site and seeing them there. are there any flow results especially variance between runners. looks like they would weigh a tonne using 8-10mm alu plate. i use 3mm pressed sheet and have not had one blow apart yet.
  11. how much for the bare inlet manifold, no inj'sm tb, fuel rail etc ?
  12. pm sent. i'll be awaiting your reply.
  13. ill take the inlet manifold. where are you located ?
  14. $100 for the inlet manifold
  15. sounds like the car is hunting. it not have an airt leak or leaky bov at all. it is casued by excessive vacuum in the plenum which most computers can not compensate for at idle. i have sent it on several cars and it is nothing to be worried about. usually happens with the installation of a larger (aftermarket) plenum. the idle will always vary between a certain range e.g. 800-1000 rpm.
  16. you can buy the kits off ebay (US) for around $US200. I had one welded for a customer and they are a crap quality cast with plenty of pin holes and the bellmouths were also cast, measuring 25-30mm in length. total costs if you were to buy one in pieces and have it welded you could saves yourself $150-$200. not worth the hassle. there are "other" optins out there with a superior finish and proven performance for an extra $200-$300
  17. are you willing to seperate the runners ?
  18. my mates 1600 is in there. i am doing a plenum for it. they sure seem to be doing a few cars around town.
  19. i am only after the lower half, $50.
  20. i am after the lower half of the inlet manifold for the rb20/25 engine to help in the design/testing of custom plenums. the donor will get a good deal on a flow tested custom plenum which will bolt striaght on. would prefer a wollongong/sydney donor as i will require to check the car out for engine bay clearances. something can be arranged for an interstate donor if they can provide the required measurements, and accurately. please contact by phone or email. Thanks, ISL33P attn: moderators - this is not an advert for my products. i will be looking at sponsorship once they are completed.
