  1. Speedo cable? How much to NSW 2500?
  2. Is this sold? I can come and pick it up today
  3. unfortunately my machine is so basic it only has pulse frequency adjustment it is fixed at - 50/50 % on time - 50% background current
  4. Sure have Brad, with some very good results. Give me a buzz, I would certainly have some time for you. I sure have, its really nice to work with and keep up the consistency.
  5. Funny that everyone says to start on steel on stainless first. I have done about 5 steels jobs in my life and the rest have been aluminium. In my eyes it is a lot easier but that I think is because of the practice and yes, I am self taught, no tafe here. I got my welder by chance, it was on run out and cost me $1500 where usually it would be $4500. Tried a couple of others including ebay (which blew up when I turned it on) and never again will I buy a cheapie or second hand.....do it once and do it right I say...especially since the majority of people with their own tig would like to make a few $$$'s to repay their investment so in the end of it you will be on top
  6. Pics below - $100 + $10 delivery anywhere pm, sms or call Ariel - 0403 279 000
  7. thanks Brad......and it should hopefully just get better.
  8. Nothing special at all actually, just a wp20 watercooled torch, with now a cheap gas lens setup off ebay. I might extend the tungsten out to 5-6mm but apart from that I just crank the heat up for tight spots. Cheers, Ariel
  9. Kurt - pm is on its way
  10. the rail mount is just bolted to the bottom of the rail so it makes it easy to take on and off I am testing a new torch setup over the weekend on a ca18 manifold so lets hope it comes out even better

  24. I just realised it has been 2 months since I last updated. Here is something I done this weekend. RB25RV (Race Version) with R33 RB25. I just have to finish off mounting the fuel rail next weekend. Also attached is a pic of another one I done a while ago R32 RB25. There is plenty more coming over the next couple of months......it's the business I have ever been. The best is a complete custom FE3 (Mazda) 2.0L looking to make 1200hp and aiming for the 6 second region. Cheers, Ariel
  25. Unfortunatley....as always time, or lack of, and other orders get in the way. I haven't yet had a chance to get something sorted out, but the closer the test dummy is to me the better. That way I can ensure the the most consistent of results and the test producing the results (meaning comparison of not just peak hp but also hp per psi) which I am after. Trust me, as soon as I have the results, I will be posting them, good or bad. Cheers, Ariel
