You will need to see the chra number, listed on the centre section of the unit. That number you quoted is just for the outer housing casting number.

Pop the cluster out and remove the globe.

Cat convertor overtemp indicator. It is meant to show when the cat is getting too hot. Check to see that the wire going into the sensor on the cat housing haven't been torn off.

hicas is always on until the light comes on, not the other way around. the light says it has faulted and is not working. Just get a hicas compliant boss kit.

There's a light on the HICAS module? where abouts.. There's one on the attessa module, but even the workshop manual only shows to check the dash light once in diagnostic mode for hicas, not any mention of an led indicator.. James.

Search for HICAS diagnostics. go through the procedure and see what is stuffed. then fix it.

... because it is hicas related. The hicas module controls the power steering. Fault in any of that system, and no power steering. Speed sender is built into the back of the speedo itself, If it is busted, or its wiring then yes it will show 0k in consult as that signal goes both to the ecu and hicas module.

The vehicle speed sensor is behind the speedo in your cluster, it is driven from the speedo cable going into the cluster itself. More than likely the system is going into fail safe mode after ~10mins and thats why it doesn't go light again. Have a search for heavy steering, it has been covered a few times lately, be better than repeating everything again. Also look for hicas diagnostics, it will tell you what bit isn't working right.

Really though, what else do you want it to do other than control boost correctly..? Kerrist I don't even have an lcd display on my blitz twin-sbc, but it controls boost nicely and does its job well. Better than wasting money on something that is a set and forget, as well as a smash and grab target to whit. Probably want to get a decent dump / front and attendant exhaust.. that will make the most difference at the stage you are at.

Very, very light coat. Otherwise the paint will act as an insulator, keeping the heat in the aluminium and transferring it back into the intake charge. Ceramic coating would be as good as not having an intercooler at all.

Q-bond. Great stuff, used it on motorbike fairings.

If you've put constant power onto the rack, of course it won't turn off at any speed.. ok, ill be nice now. Wire colours are black, and black/yellow stripe. 2 pin connector going into engine harness 2, and another 2 pin connector same wire colours going onto the solenoid connector. these 2 wires, black is grouped in the main engine harness connected to body ground, black/yellow goes to the body harness connector and other side of that connetor to the hicas module.
