EXT. full 400R bodykit inc wing with cf blade and 400R fiberglass bonnet, sittin on 17" MODS. fmic, turbo back zorst, hks cat bak, hks pod with cia, avcr running .85bar 87000km's just checked carsales.com n there isnt much to compare to so just woundering wat you lads think... and does anything know if insurance will go down if i get a s15 (gotta keep it nismo, nothing else compeats) as it is a 4 non import tubro???

hey im after some diy tricks 2 make a 33 have better over all perfornmance. i.e blocking that water line that goes into throttle body, keeps air cooler. any suggestions also im keep on keeping underbonnet temps down any tips on what to thermal wrap? big watter pipe thats 10mm from fmic plumbing. hope im making sence and every1 can share/ learn a thing or 2 keep up the good work lads

detonation is the problem, ive had the problem before and fixed it with ngk.7 iridums but now its coming back? because it is getting colder - more boost or its to advanced AFM shouldnt max out at under a bar a mate told me iridum plugs r no good for high boost --- 12psi and up is this true? what is the problem>>>>>

Hey all, I got a rb25det and want to retard the timing to 14 degrees, but before I do this I need to know where I can hook the gun to, as I checked it today and it said 17 degrees. So if anyone can explain or show me a pic where an accurate place is to clip the gun into and if 14 degrees sounds sensible at 13 pounds? cheers :lol:

To lock the heat in to keep it out? with that shit on there its just gona get hotter n hotter... its designed to keep heat contained.... thats why you wrap your dump etc to prevent the high temp of the metal from heat soaking the rest ov your engine. if you realy wana get rid of this problem id get a vented bonnet so cold air is blowing onto your pluming. but thats just me not the brightest question but now you kno

just changed oil, motul 15w / watever it is, k&n oil filter and a bigger fule filter... my oil press (stock gauge) reads between the middle 3 lines and have noticed 1ce its been just over the the 2nd top line. is this just the trippy motul (smells soo good just for those who have been woundering if it smells good or not) broken gauge or k&n oil filter affecting this??? beats me tho just wana get this cleared incase somthing blows up???

Hey, DIY service coming up this weekend and bought motul 15w/50 oil, when I got home I realised its only 4L. how much oil does an rb25det need? Also I know that there is such thing as a magnetic gearbox bolt, is there such thing as a magnetic sump bolt? If so where can I get one? AUTOBAHN??? Thanks heaps

But what I want to know is, In qld say for arguments sake my exhausts to loud (and these days anything over stock is too loud) too low, my windows are to dark, I have a pod and a greddy bov under the bonnet which is held down with bonnet pins.... should I say sho me a warrant n ill show you what’s under my bonnet so should I just act dumb and open it?????

im not talking bout cops checking in your glovbox for crack or under your seat for a sawd off shotty. like checking under the bonnet for bov, catch cans, pod, not water n all that crap...

Hey, I just read a very relevant and interesting discussion involving a number people about ‘our rights as motorists’ but it was dated 2003 and laws and our rights may have changed, plus the link SK gave didn’t help. :confused: I just want to clear up some rumours about our rights and hopefully save the cops from booking you. Not like our cars are deflectable anyway! If a cop asks the all so common request to ‘pop your bonnet son’ can we say not unless you have a search warrant? :lock: Are bonnet pins illegal, having a fibreglass bonnet I have nothing to pop? got some spare cash 2 spend and its time for an upgrade, but what to buy? got the usual mods, .86bar, pod, turboback zorst. if i get a fmic i can also heatshield my pod and run cai but the puta seems more bang for buck! Wats your opinion? Wat brand do u recomend? :crazy: cheers
