  1. Consider doing history over economics. History is a lot more interesting and easier than economics. I'm speaking on opinons from several of my mates who did both economics and history...
  2. Hey do you have the GTR crank? If so please contact me via PM, thanks
  3. The dealer has a responsibility to sell you a car in working order. If the clutch failed as soon as you bought it, it is their problem to have it fixed and they are legally bound to do so as long as the car was not sold on the agreement of a rooted clutch. You should have gone to them first thing rather than paying yourself to have it fixed. I doubt forwarding the bill onto them will make them pay it. My 2 cents....
  4. Damnit cant send pm's atm.... Could you please pm me with direct deposit details as I would like to purchase one of the 600mm intercoolers. Cheers
  5. Not even comparable. Straight line times the XR6 turbo would destroy a bog stock R33. There engines have so much more 1/4 mile potential as well as power is dead easy to pull out of them. As a track car it is a different story all together...
  6. That clicking noise is the noise that it will make when the battery cannot supply enough CCA to the starter motor (Cold Cranking Amps). It makes this when enough voltage is present to turn the vehicles circuitry on but not enough to crank the motor. Check your battery voltage and then if that doesnt work get your wiring to your starter motor checked. If the starter motor was rooted I doubt it would even make a clicking noise.
  7. How do the piping kits fit in with the factory piping? Does it bend round and come back to the factory intercooler piping? Or does it curve round and come back over the top of the radiator and fans?
  8. All R32 GTS-T's come standard with the type m options ie. larger brakes, different steering wheel etc. etc. The first of Predator's picture is the factory option aero kit which is present on my car. As for putting a FMIC in my front bar it will fit in easily as long as the centre support bar (A bar which sits directly in the middle) is cut out. Even type M bars can fit large intercoolers in pretty easily. I have a mate who just installed a 100mm thick hybrid copy intercooler into his type m front bar which only just fits in.
  9. Just something I have been curious about recently and decided it might be a good idea to pop the question..... We all know that "generally" the larger the diameter of the piping in an exhaust system the more power it will generally produce and the better that it would respond to modifications as well. But unfortunately the larger you go, the more impractical it becomes due to the excessive noise that it would make. Now here is my question. Btw cat convertors are disregarded for this experiment. Now lets say if I hypothetically had an full turbo back 3" exhaust like most people generally buy for there turbo cars which was straight through until it reached the rear cannon, where it had only one to help baffle the sound of the exhaust. Lets say that this exhaust produced 90db. In my second example lets imagine I had a full 3.5" turbo back system which was helped to keep it down to regulation noise by use of a couple of mufflers (same design as our cannon in example one, same restriction/flow) to keep it at our regulation noise of 90db. Now between these both setups. Which one would produce more power? Would one produce more than the other? Would one respond better modifications than the other? Or would they be actually the same? Just wondering. Cheers
  10. I submitted it but they said they would contact me asap with the details.
  11. Thanks Blitz, still no contact from Fidel04. He is a complete **** head and I'm going to take him down hard . Please don't ban him, just refrain him from trading any further on these forums. I'll contact other moderators from other forums to ensure he doesn't get to trade on other forums as well. He has submitted to me 2 different addresses in Braken Ridge QLD and both do not exist. It is fair to say that he was out there to get me. Stupid thing is that I knew the price of the turbo was too good to be true. I should have listened to my instincts. Cheers, Once again if anyone has any information on Fidel04 or 'Fidel' as he is known on other forums please contact me, thanks.
  12. Well I have first hand experience of that considering I work for a Ford Dealership :uhh: . The BA XR6 Turbos really aren't all that bad that they are made out to be, besides the brake shudder issue of course which can be easily fixed by buying a set of aftermarket brake discs. Only the small majority of them have problems. However I would never go past the reliability of a Nissan or other japanese car hence why I bought a skyline. There not as bad as there made out to be and are still a lot better than the Gen 3/ Gen 4 (oil leaks hahaha). In conclusion wait a while and buy the V35.
  13. If your thinking about buying a monaro I suggest you check out the Ford Typhoon as well. Very very quick cars and not bad lookers either
  14. I agree with nsm034, My first car was a 1986 KC Laser Ghia. Went pretty hard for a 1.6L manual, started first time every time. Did wiked handbrake turns And it was also faster than my mates 1998 Lancer! I had that car for 2 years so that I could save up enough money without taking out a huge loan to import my own car. Save money and don't be in debt.
  15. Still no sign of money, information has been submitted to the authorities at hand and if my money is not recieved soon it will be out of my hands. If anyone has any information of Fidel04 or Fidel as he is known on a couple of other forums (spends most of his time at boostcruising.com) please PM me as I'm asking for as much help in this matter as possible to getting justice dealt. Cheers
  16. Both have pros and cons. Find out what you want in a car and go for it. Grip or smoking powerslides!
  17. Unfortunately they really haven't said anything substantial in there article to prove that the GTS-4 is better than the GTS-T. The GTS-4's are much more unique but you can't have as much fun in a GTS-4 as a GTS-T either
  18. In the present future there is rumours of them putting an XR6 turbo motor in the AWD territory. In an AWD system it would be very very difficult to hold the amount of torque that the motors have the potential of making. Ford would have to make ane exceptional drivetrain in order to hold this sort of power.
