Its a GTS-4 Sedan resprayed in commodore dark purple and has GTR rims. A very clean machine with an RB26 going in soon I believe.

Geoff, what turbos did you use? How efficient was your setup? Would you do it again? Expensive setup for the power/response created?

You have got to be exceptionally gutsy to tackle a gearbox recon. It would be best to have some experience in the motor industry in order to take it on. In order for it to work you would need to set clearances, use correct shims and know exactly how a manual gearbox works. Anyway I wish you the best of luck and let us know how it goes.

This is coming from someone who knows next to nothing about twin turbo setups. Ok in a hypothetical situation where I designed a custom exhaust manifold to suit a single turbo motor such as a RB20DET or RB25DET which was designed to hold two turbos what problems would you have in running two turbos on a motor designed for one turbo? Also some questions for the RB26 guys. If I had two turbos say with a limit of 200rwkw each would that bring with two turbos attached to the motor to 400rwkw's? Also if I had one turbo that had an actuator which allowed the output of the turbo to produce 15 pound boost, would a second turbo with the same specs bring the total turbo output to 30 pound boost? Obviously there must be issues with this sort of setup on a single turbo motor otherwise it would be far superior to a single turbo setup and people would be doing it all the time.

Look around for a R32 GTR. I'm sure if you looked properly you could find one for around 20g's or just over. Either than or just find a R32 GTS-T and bomb the hell out of it :wassup:

Does anyone know whether the GTR diff is similar to the GTS-T one? I have a very good condition diff which I would be willing to swap with anyone who doesn't like there 1.5 way or 2-way diff.

With the plates "GOT BOOST"? By the way I've tried to get in contact with Prank about changing it but could not get a reply from him and I don't know of anyone else or how I can change it. Anyone?

FD for the fact that there are way too many lancers around that look exactly like evo's. A bit sad considering that there pretty nice looking cars but an Evo just wont stand out like a FD would

Hey, After just getting my R32 I am looking at the option of the R32 RB25DET conversion. Can anyone shed some light on the conversion? Would a complete halfcut be much more helpful than a engine/gearbox package? Also any general prices on packages on both R33 and R34 and any places based in Perth or Australia wide which are well known for offering good prices based on people's personal experiences or from what they have heard. Im almost definate it would be the injectors. Best way to tell is by getting a large screwdriver, put the screwdriver on each injector and put your ear up to the end of the screwdriver. If you hear a distinctive injector noise in time with the ticking noise of the engine it will be the injectors. Do that and tell us what happens. In order to fix it don't use that injector cleanser crap that you put in your fuel tank because it does next to nothing. The only proper way to get injectors cleaned is to get the injectors physically removed and cleaned by a rail clean machine, does the job and guarentees success.

Well i went down and ran a best time of 14.7 @ 152km/h. Does that sound right for a car with 3" cat back and pod filter? Damn I keep trying to pull good smoking burnouts but it just didnt want to do it. Maybe I should use second gear instead.....
