Just keep the pedal into it and apply some opposite lock coming out of the corner I find that in my car as soon as it hits boost in 1st or 2nd gears in the wet it just goes nuts. Also remember it really does depend on what mods you are running on your car as well. Power increase mods obviously get the tail snapping easy. Suspension mods such as coilovers, harder springs/struts will also have a large impact on it as well. Having three people in the car also probably gives the car less chance of stepping out anyway. More weight over the rear wheels. Also depends if you were coming out of a corner or flooring it down a straight.

Looking at about ~$1k for a RB25DET gearbox.. lol if you think an RB25DET gearbox would be a headf**k to put it.. believe me putting a supra one in would be worse. If your going to stay at your current power level I would not even bother with putting in a RB25DET gearbox, just find an RB20DET one and save yourself the hassle and expense.

Are we talking realistically? Well my next car will be a S14 series 2 without a doubt.. But im happy with my R32 4 door at the moment, for all your drifting and 4 door needs

It's a shame there an absolutely horrible looking car. I would rather not be caught driving a car that looks like an Alfa. But the Libertys however... are nice looking cars

Well the Q45 AFM works well and thats from an N/A motor so I'm guessing it would be ok I guess?
-
Christ man... Supra 6 speeds are bloody expensive and well as being bloody heavy as well. Especially if your thinking about putting it into an R32 GTS-T. If anything stick the proven application of using the RB25 gearbox if your worried about breaking your box. What sort of power are you running?

Depends on what you want to run and what you can afford

Ba Xr6t(gt35/40) On Rb25det Or Rb30det?
Baz replied to joe2548's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Considering XR6T's are on full boost by 1800rpm.. I couldn't imagine them being a laggy turbo for a RB25/30 -
Haha yeah man thats my car. Goes well but things break more often than my income allows me to spend upgrading the car.

Pulling Out R32 Manual Gearbox
Baz replied to Baz's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Yup the shifter is all pulled out and everything. So putting a jack on the front of the motor should help clear the firewall by putting it on an angle? And I should turn the gearbox anti-clockwise (looking from the rear of the car) so that the bell housing clears the firewall? The car is on 4 jacks at the moment and I'm pretty sure the front is sitting higher than the rear, so that probably doesnt help either. -
Hey all, First off I'll start by saying I'll never try to replace the clutch on my R32 on the ground again But now that I'm halfway through, I guess I need to go through with it. I got all the bolts out and check and double checked everything was loose and taken off but I just can't find a technique to twist the gearbox to clear the firewall. Has anyone removed a R32 or R33 manual gearbox before? Do you need to do anything stupid like angle the motor to pull it out? Or have the gearbox hanging down as far to the ground as possible or pushed up as far as possible? Just that I'm really stuck and can't figure how to pull it out. Thanks,

Bee-R is a spark cut limiter. Hit the limiter and it shoots flames banging off the limiter. I wouldn't mind one for my car for drifting.

Or a car running antilag

AutoLoc is a brand you can use. A kit would cost roughly around about $400-500 for a single outlet flame-thrower kit. Check out http://www.autoloc.com

It shouldnt do any damage to your car if not used consistantly Some cars actually get a metal plate made up to cover up the area around the exhaust tip to avoid damaging the paint.
-
Well first off you will need to run an exhaust system without a cat convertor. There are a few kits available over the net that work well. But what ever you do, dont go for the DIY approach because thats where everything can go wrong. Some kits run a spark plug in the tip of the exhaust so it ignites the unburnt fuel running through the exhaust. To make this more effective you will have to run a richer mixture but turbo cars run a rich mixture as it is. But as mentioned earlier it can be a pretty dangerous thing to do if not done in the right environments but can put on a decent specticle. Make sure you consider all the negatives before thinking about doing it.

Anyone know how the Bee-R Launch controller allows a spark cut rev limiter? I've seen them used on CA and SR motors and I guess they could be used on RB motors, but does anyone know of another cheaper alternative to put a spark cut rev limiter on your car rather than forking out money for Bee-R one?

God damnit broke my handbrake leaver while trying to modify it I'm sure people have these left over from the many R32 Halfcuts that come through. But yeah I'm chasing one for my car. I'm not sure however how long the cable protrudes back from the handbrake lever though but I need all that is necessary to change the lever. Thanks, Send me a PM if you have one preferably.

I'm with Just car's using 3rd Party Fire and Theft. Way I see it is that if I'm not a dickhead and behave myself on the road I don't really need full comprehensive. I'm also covered for $5000 if my car is thieved or burnt to the ground. I pay $400 a year Btw I'm 20 years old. And yes if you look on the policy for excess for female drivers they are less. My 17yo sister on P plates pays a lower excess than me if she is listed on the policy.
