Just picked up some mobil1 0w40 again from Harold from performancelub.com. Top bloke and awesome prices.

What i dont understand still is why he pulled so far to the right and slowed down... regardless if he is on the radio to his team. If he was behind the safety car, talking to the team should not be much of a problem, considering they talk to them when the engine is screaming at 18k down the straights. You can see how much the safety car pulls away. He did it coming out of a corner/in between corners, if he was going to pull to the side he could have at least done it on the straight. The safety car is not even going that fast compared to what an F1 car can do. I can't accept that he had 'nothing' or 'little' to do with it, he had a lot to do with it. You cant just go off the line the safety car is taking and slow down that much. Obviously Vettel is still the majority to blame. besides if lewis was onto his team complaining about Mark i think he deserves to be penalised just for that, cant get everything his own way.

+1.. Also looks like that 10 spot penalty on the grid for Vettel wont hurt him much haha, he is already down the back of the field.

Why did Lewis slow down so much though and stay so much out on the right side?

who knows! im sure it would be along the lines of " Wonderful drive by Hamilton into second place, Jenson Button did a supreme job and finished a solid 11th and Anthony Davidson with another stunning drive finishes in wonderful 17th place. The british drivers really performed the best this round. Oh... I almost forgot to mention, M Webber came 1st.. not bad for an aussie"

How are annoying is the commentry.. the most annoying was when someone flew into the side of hamiltons car and in their most disgusted voice they say 'oh that was just rude'.. true whinging pom style. They still cant get over Button, shits me to tears.

Im not a big rugby supporter... but since storm are kicking ass i have kept an eye on it. Kick off is in half an hour or so, hopefully they can do it this year! Go stormers!!

At every track day ive done, Motul oil has been great.. always gave great pedal feel.

Ive done a few track days on the hankook RS2's at Sandown and Phillip Island... They are pretty good for the price, even when the tyres were pretty hot they still gripped pretty well. Althought i did lock up my front left going into turn 1 at Sandown and went off the track, tyre had such a big flat spot i had to change it (wonder if anyone will buy a tyre with 99% tread and a decent flat spot, flat spot is down to the marker)

Guys i usually use Mobil1 0w40 synthetic for my car r33 gtst.. 200rwkw. Ive been doing a few track days and will be doing more in the future.. Am I on the right track with the Mobil1, or you have any other reccomendations? Cheers.

lol.. my old man has a ticket.. but he said he cannot go (business issues in QLD). Not sure what his plans are with it yet. I thought with an interstate team tickets would be 'easier' to come by..

Looks like fun. I missed it as i did the MG club track day at Phillip Island with a few of the other SAU guys.

When it comes to GTR's & RB26's i hear Ben at RacePace is the man You can also try Ray at RE Customs, alot of SAU vic guys get their cars tuned/serviced/modded by him. He looks after us and is a member of SAU VIC.

Yeah was great seeing Webber in the points again! Hopefully he can continue getting a bit closer to the pointy end of the field.
