  4. lol if the Police did their job properly in the first place, the 'motorcade' would have never got that far to make a such scene! They chaser guys are getting charged over the Police force's incompetence.
  5. agreed lol... but i still like F1 as it is different, the races actually go for more then 20mins haha
  6. If they market the shit out of it i think they could achieve a decent amount of sales. Need to get the public to look beyond the Nissan badge, as many people who can afford this type of car know nothing of the Nissan history of the GTR's (performance etc). The look of the car being pretty different to anything else that is available on the market will also help greatly, as the target market always like driving something that no one else has seen/owns.. wank factor will be a big selling point.
  7. Pat, if you find no one just make it up . Thats how i got through those assignments, but i guess i didnt learn much.
  8. Hey mate, best bet is to book on the net a few days before.. they normally always have 'last minute' deals or something along those lines! I helped my mate learn manual and we booked a car for $35 a day over the net. Its an obvious answer (search on net) but hope it helps. cheers.
  9. He got back to me within a day, give him a call on his mobile. From what ive heard and experienced he is very good at replying to emails/inquiries.
  10. Mine does not have ABS either. Would have been handy on the weekend when i locked up into Turn 1 at Sandown and badly flat-spotted my front left brand new tyre.... mine does not have ABS either. Had to buy a new tyre to replace it today EDIT: I also heard that the brake pedal feel is much better in non-abs equipped cars.
  11. hes killing it! Yeah he married young, probably to secure his wife as she is a stunner.
  12. Free to spectate mate, dont have to be a vic member or anything.

  15. Mate can i get a price for 235/35/19 and 245/35/19's, or what ever you have in 19's. cheers. EDIT: just need a price for the 235/35/19s... asap please. cheers
  16. Im in! I got new tyres after Winton destroyed my last bit of tread, so ill have to test them out.
  17. haha i know what you mean, nothing worse then getting those first few dints on a new car! Depending on the access you have to the back of panel and what the dint is like will depend on how well he can get it out. Even if he cant get a dint out 100%, he says he can get it close or would be able to considerably improve it. Best bet is have a chat to him, or send him some pics so he can let you know.
  18. Hey guys, Just making a post to inform everyone about a good experience with one of our SAU VIC supporters, John from PDR-TEK. My old lady's car had a decent dint in the rear qtr panel of her Astra, his work was great.. I didn't think he would have been able to get the dint out, let alone get it close to 100%. Looking at the panel now, you would never pick that a dint used to be their. He did the job at her work and spent a few hours perfecting his work, even helped out another person at her work! If you sign up to become a VIC member and present your card he will look after you, as he did for me If you guys are interested here is his contact details: John 0419 600 300 http://www.pdrtek.com.au/ Cheers, Mark.
  19. It was actually 210$ for 235's (price mix up as i was getting prices for my brothers car).. But the cheapest i was quoted on 245s was $230, still not bad. However i can get a set of 4 245/45/17 delivered to melbourne for $770, which makes its about $193 each. But i only need 2 245's for the back of my car, so i need to find someone who needs 2 as well so we can split the cost. haha
  20. Totally forgot about this thread, thanks for the links mate. I should get onto it asap as i need it for a track day weekend after next. Guess no one has any of these just lying around haha. cheers.
  21. Looked at the fuel pump? My brothers car would randomly cut out, and not start... and warning lights would stay on..
  22. How do those federals compare to the RS2's.. anybody to experiece them, or have any opinions? cheers
  23. The supplier in Sydney only have 245/45/17's so thats why im after someone else also interested in the same size, as i dont need that size for all 4 wheels.. only my rears. god, does this make any sense at all lol?
  24. Hey mate, tyres may go by size not by weight when getting a price to freight them....
