Hey, I have rang around Melbourne looking for 245/45/17's for the rear of my car, and the best price i got was $240 per tyre.. Anyways after some further investigation i can get a set of four for $770 (price includes delivery from Sydney) that works out to be $192.50 per tyre. I don't know anyone else that needs 245/45/17 tyres, so i was wondering if anyone needed 2 so then we could get this set and everyone will be happy. Its a long shot, but you never know Cheers, Mark. EDIT: I asked the guy about warranty: "The tyres are Australian distributed, so they have a warranty with hankook Australia wide."

Hey all, looking at the Hankook RS2's 245/45/17's.. for $210 each. Thats the cheapest price i could find, you guys know if thats a decent price? Im in Melbourne and looking to change my rears on Tuesday. Im going to keep my fronts (Bridgestone S03's i think) for a track day at Sandown, after the track day they will be un roadworthy and i'll change them to the RS2's also.

All good mate, i might catch up with you at Sandown if your heading down. Would be good if i can get a driver instructer with a rear wheel drive car as last two times i've had an EVO driver who wasnt sure sometimes on which lines i should be taking... but none the less he helped heaps! So if you can point me in the right direction so i can PM someone with RWD exp that would be great. cheers. EDIT: I have a AASA licence is that valid for Sandown, or do i have to purchase a CAMS licence?

Hey mate, you can get the dump pipe off this site... search for BATMBL on these forums, his split dump pipes are great. As for getting it installed, any mechanic can to do it.

Think ill be attending this one as well.. after doing Winton in the dry (unlike Calder in the wet) was awesome and i have caught the bug.. just need to sort out some new tyres as Winton munched them bad.

Hey guys.. just a question regarding the seat belts... in the supp regs it states "Must be fitted with seat belts to AS E35 or of a type listed in Section 6. Schedule I of the 2007 CAMS Manual of Motor sport." Can someone translate that into something that i can understand haha? cheers.

Hey it says the bonnet needs 2 separate 'fastening systems' can someone clear this up... i take it the one already keeping the bonnet down is 1.. what else can be used for this? Guys any idea where the best place to get Motul RBF 600 fluid from, and price? Im also hoping to get some Bendix Ultimate front pads before a track day the weekend after next.. someone told me they got them for $100 form Repco so ill give that a go. Cheers.

SBS dont have the rights for the Asian Cup, Fox do.. so i doubt very much that they are allowed to screen any replays of games. Their start to the tournament was VERY dissapointing, lets see what they can do now. Hopefully they have their act together for the finals.
