I went right at the end of the day and I think they needed the extra sale as they were a bit desperate....

31,500 was RRP.. got it down to 28,300.. with 4 year factory waranty (1 year extra), floor mats, tank of petrol, slim line plates + extra 12 months rego on top... 28,500 is the 'invoice price' which they buy the car for from the manufacturer.. they then get rebates from the manufacturer.. so we did well. Everyone who i speak to say get the RS2's instead of the K104's. Apparently they are new and better than the K104s, with not much price difference. I got another price on the RS2's somewhere else and they quoted $210 fitted and balanced per tyre for 245/40/17's. You cant get 255's in the RS2's.

Yeah window tinting will get done afterwards. Mats ill try and get for free.. the Maxx Sport model is basically side skirt, rear spoiler and 16" alloys upgrade for $1000. But will try to further bargain. lol, im sure he can visit you in the IKEA shop..

Sounds like a good plan, i was going to go to another dealer as you said before going back to the one where mum has already been... Mazda dealers are to far between, so i think ill just stick with going between 2.

No its not for me lol.... my old lady is going to buy one tomorrow.... Now im going to do the negotiation. Has anybody purchased one lately or know of someone who has purchased one lately? I need an idea of what price i can aim for. They have quoted 31,500k reccomended retail for the car she want.. but im sure i can screw them down a bit and hopefully get them to throw in some car mats etc... Anyone know the tricks of the trade or can offer any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mark.

Lol went to get a price on Hankook RS2's from my local tyrepower store.. they said $380 a tyre for 245/40/17 HAHA!!!

Guys try Harold at performancelub.com.... Royal purple is 10.90$ for a quart (946ml)... this guy imports his stuff form America. he is located in Melbourne, but even with postage he is cheaper then most places. Cheers. I picked up some Mobil 1 0w40 for 54$ (i picked it up though).

I ended up getting oil from Harold as perfromancelub.com, very helpful... i picked the oil up from his home in melb. Definately reccomend him... cant beat his prices either!

lol true, but something about 'lube mobile' just doesn't sit right with me. I dont necessarily service mine at an 'import specialist', I also take it to my local mechanic.. but previous to me taking it to him i have seen some imports sitting in his workshop. Just gves me some peace of mind knowing that 'hopefully' they are less likely to stuff things up then another place.

lol @ lube mobile, cant believe some of you people trust your car with them. I would take it to a place who work on and know about imports rather then trust any mechanic.

After watching the last F1 race, realised just how good MotoGP has been this year.. so much overtaking and good racing. Im also loving F1, but i guess the success of Stoner so far this season is really making it great to watch.
