Once your car has cleared customs etc, you can pick it up from the docks.. wither get it towed or get a temp reg and drive it. You are able to take it home, i think you have to get it complied/present it to your compliancer in 100 days from the date it arrives or something like that (maybe someone can clarify that). I know with my compliancer..... my car arrived around chrismas so he was closing for a few weeks, if my car didnt arrive in time to get it to the shop i could take it home.

I just got mine installed yesterday off the guy he recommended, so he has GOOD contacts down here in Melbourne. agreed. SS may not be as sporty as our Jap cars but still however poorly made people think the SS/Holden is made, its still a sports car.
