hey guys, im looking a changing my stock cooler for a new one (600x300x76) now i got no idea how to mount it at all. Does anyone have a guide on how to do this or a link, it would be much appreciated. Also pics will help -DAZ

anyone know the difference between the type 1 and tpe 2 coolers ?

so u only have the piping...does it come polished, coz thats what im after, not chromed? i still havent recieved the manual

i didnt get the a port n polish i jsut got the head shaved and thats it. But im lookin for a decent cooler as we speak.

have u got a pic of the cooler itself that u sell, because im lookin' at getting a kit for my r33. also before i purchase can someone send instructions to install it to [email protected] so i can see what is involved, coz i ahve no idea how to fit it into the series 2 front bar . thanks

i got my 96 gts-t model for 16k complienced n rwc from a dealer..with warranty. The body on mine is unmarked no scrathes dints, nothing! 3wks back my timing belt snapped, so i called them up and they rebuild the engine (i bent the valves an a few other things) with no hassels at all, without that i would have been 3k outta pocket. i was warned to change it from them aswell, but i thought, nah she will be fine, but now she is strong as ever. also SEI motors own a mechanic place which is just across the road from them.. Be very careful with them i saw one car he had advertised adn when i went to look at it the front was really scratched, rust in the boot and under the doors that rail thing was all smashed in (looked like a fork lift hit it when unloading it) adn i go ar eyou gonna fix it if i buy it and he goes no ill just put skirts on for you...i jsut walked off, i didnt want nothign to do with them.

since i work like 5 mins from this place it could come in handy for me...Can he paint the dash aswell, coz hte carbon fibre looks real nice, but i wanna get mine done in purple . Do you know if he does that aswell, if not ill go down tehre when i get my car back at the end of the week

my setup is currently : 1996 R33 Series 2. rb25det with pod, 3" exhaust and in the commin' months a bigger cooler

i got an r33 owners manual, i jsut dont know how im gonna scan the book coz its binded together, but ill c if i can work something out

done this a few weeks back, one side was easy coz i only had a pod in the way, as for the other side, i unscrew the fus box and washer bottle and then got my hands in there....ass of a job to change the parkers

If the battery is fine, check the starter motor and solinoid. To test it get a bar and tap the starter motor then try start it, if the car starts replace the starter motor.. also have u looked at the alternator, check it keeps charge

i got my car from power rd, and i cannot up talk the guys. Im only 21 and they let me test drive any car i wanted alone! I got my r33 with warranty and every time i call them they are always willing to speak and help out....definitly recommend them. Even after the car was complied they chucked in a few goodies...

well when my car came into australia 2 months ago they changed all filters and everthing else, but the timing belt was never mentioned. bt3tt, mate ur so right, lucky the warranty covers it all. Warning to anyone who gets an import, change the timing belt, because you dont know how many k's the cars done. Also i was told that it also is cause because the car has the factory timing belt and being 9yrs old it gave way

nah the importer confirmed my timing belt snapped. so im gettin a rebuild, i've already organised it n the car has been towed upto dandenong for it (over an hour from my place) the car is under warranty still, so im only outta pocket for the tow truck there and back

the belt had only 51,000 ks on it, thats whats pissed me off the most. The guy who has to rebuild it says, maybe coz its the original belt and the the car is 10yrs old (1996 model) it happend with age. this aint my day

my initial thought was right i snapped the timing belt and bent the valves, so its f**ked.

i got remote start in m car, never missed a beat *touch wood* but there cool in cold mornings to warm up the car. with most systems the remote start will start teh engine n keep it ideling. if u try and drive it, the engine switches off, so u gotta put the key into the ignition into the on position, once done u can drive as normal ,so they are safe. alaso most systems if u press remote start, it makes sure ht doors r locked then starts, so no one can jump in n steal it

if its the timing belt, i dont care, but if its bent the valves, ill die ive got an idea that it could be the crank angle sensor.. also i've been told from a few ppl its could be coil packs (?) to do with my remote start n alarm etc that is lose n its activated my engine disengage n thats why it wont start ...does that sound right?

Last night i was commin home when i came around a corner n the second i went to accelerate, my car (R33GTS-T) lost all power n rolled to a stop. the lights and radio all still work. When i tried to crank the car back over the thing just sounds like a spinning noise and it wont start Its not fuel because i can hear it. im lost, my baby wont start... any help would be appreciated
