many of you guys are saying to try drivers ed to learn how to control a vehicle and so forth, but you have all gone totally of trackm launching at the lights an losing a bit of traction can be done in any car, its gotta nothing to do with driver experience, its got to do with stupidity. and i dont see a need to ban a member because of the situation, why ban him and cause him more anger, simply let him learn from his mistakes and rectify the situation. at least he might get some sense from it and be careful in the future.

it cannot be higher then the lines of the dash. The thing i dont understand is that its an obstruction of vision yet taxi drivers can have there stuff mounted all the way up the A piller with no issue. Yes its a there job to take people around, but there only normal drivers and why does it exempt them from obstruction of vision, they are still normal drivers

Apexi Rsm - Where To Mount It?
mr_crust replied to ookami's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
instead of running a search this will save u some time, this pic was when i first put it in my car with velco: this pics is with the ash tray removed and i cut a piece of aliminium and screwed it in and then velcro'd the rsm on it, this way looks heaps better i wanted to mount it on the top of the dash , but due to heat and it being above the dash lines, i didnt wanna risk getting a defect, or wanna be theifs seein' it -
i got a $200 fine going through an amber light at 10pm with a cop car more then 200metres behind me. He claimed he can see in the dark that my car was over the line and that i made no attempt to stop. he said that basically if i attempted to brake (and he could see the brake lights) and then i went through he could tell i attempted to stop and wouldnt have got a fine. moral: tap ur brakes before u come on full boost to go through an amber to save 200bux

Any decent skyline in the wet with a lead foot driver is gonna loose traction, u only need to lose traction for that split second and ur life can turn upside down , as far as im concerned while on p plates there must be restirctions on cars, and hopefully this will cut down the number of heros

hahah, not selling the cooler ever ok, job done and the cars running fine again. To check the resistance get a multimetre and put it on the pin to the left and the middle pin , it should read 0.7ohms anything different means it damaged
-
sounds like a vaccum leak , during idle if fluctuates thats normally the cause , check all you cooler piping also how old are your spark plugs? Have you gapped your spark plugs to 1.1mm or if boosted 0.8mm?

well problem sorted out this morning, for future reference to anyone with a similiar issue , all i did was unlplug one coil pack connector at a time and start the car , if the car felt really lumpy i knew the coil was fine, but when i got to the 4th coil pack and undone the plug and started the car it had no effect , so i knew it was damaege, so i found a place with a single spare coil pack and am getting it changed today :0

Saturday night i lined up a wrx and had a quick run, after hittin 80ks my exhaust starting popping real bad, now i backed of straight away and didnt think much of it. Monday morning on the way to work gave it a squirt and it happend again. So i knew it was misfiring after 4500Rpm , but anything under that was fine. I checked all the coil packs and they wer fine, the spark plugs were finished, so i changed them tonight and now the car can r33 redlines without the popping noise but the idle is real lumpy (normally 650rpm now its 800rpm and when u drive the car feels like its hopping what can cause this apart from the spark plugs and coil packs? this is doing my head in ?

After looking for parts for my R33, i found that a fair few things are interchangeable with other makes and models. This morning for instance i rang burson, super cheap auto and repco and when asking for copper spark plugs to suit an r33, all stated they had nothing available, only iridium ones and they ranged from $108 to $150. When i found that the VL Turbo used the same thread i purchased them and they worked a charm for a total of $24.95 for 6 Spark Plug Part No for RB25DET Recommended Plug: PFR5G-11 Iridium Option: BKR5EIX-11 INTERCHANGEABLE PART NUMBER (HOLDEN VL), Copper: NGK BCPR6ES ----------- The Water Pump can also be used from a VL, i think of the top of my head with just the relocation of 1-2 bolts. If you know anymore please add them --------- i FOUND THE BELOW ON OTHER SITES, CAN ANYONE CONFIRM ANY OF THE BELOW : Rb25det series 1 Alternator rebuild -Power regulator. Mitsubishi #IM 830-14.4volts (http://www.transpo.de/cgi-win/product.exe?IM830) need to replace your clutch pivot ball you can use the 3rd Generation Nissan Maxima OEM Nissan P/N 30537-03E00 13070-42L00 rb series timing belt tensioner. Same part number as VG30E (84-89 300zx) 1991-1994 Z32 speed sensor WILL work with an RB25DET transmission KA24DE Slave Cylinder Fits the RB25DET. CLUTCH FOR RB20 AND 25 IS 300ZX N/A o2 sensor that works from a 1984 200sx with the ca18et engine. RB25 Series 2 MAF is the same as a 97 Maxima. Most of the RB20DET Valvetrain is Z32 300ZX parts I know for sure the Valve springs, retainers, spring seats and keepers are the same RB25DET Cam Seals are the same as the Z32 crank seal and the CA18 cam and crank seal.

well to get it to fit properly, once the front bar is on there are gaps under the lights and were it meets at the guards. so if you do change the headlights so you dont have gaps , you then need the grill and bonnet, it isnt as cheap as you think to do this and make it look clean. but for a half assed job you can get away with it if you really want it
-
nope it wont fit, u need a new grill, bonnet , front fenders, lights
-
front go with 225 or 235 so they dont rub and rears 265
-
last time i had this same problem, i snapped the timing belt and the car wouldnt start for me, it made a ticking sound when i tried to start it , but to no avail.
