  1. /start Hi-jack I'm running a relatively stock setup, apart from 3" turbo back exhaust, pod filter, hks ssqv bov, stock turbo running on boost-t at ~10psi. I think my car is using more fuel than it should and running rich. Will an SAFC be able to make it use less fuel and get a better a/f ratio? Thats all I want to know /end Hi-jack
  2. Just a quick question, what benefits would be had if I installed an older series 1 S-AFC in my R32 (rb20det) ? Will it allow me to lean out the fuel mixtures and make the car use less fuel? I think my car is running quite rich. Who tunes SAFC's, is it done on the dyno by the guys there? Thanks

  4. Hello all, Well basically, all 6 of my coilpacks are f**ked up beyond belief. I am in need of a full set in excellent condition. Will need to be tested with a multimeter to attain/prove condition. Please let me know what you've got, the car is running really poorly at the moment! Cheers

  7. So the go is to only really bother fitting a genuine R32 gtr bar to GTS-t if you have the reinforcement bit? Does it look completely shit without the GTR reinforcement?
  8. So if I can source a cheap R32 GTR front bar I shouldn't bother? Is it too much hassle to get it to fit with the normal GTS-t reinforcement?

  10. Hey all My car has done 116,000 and I'm not sure if it's had the major service done. Can I please get some recommendations of places to potentially get the major service done at, which will do quality work, not f**k my car up, and not charge me the world for it too? Cheers
  11. Hey all I have the same problem. I hear a spinning type noise when the car is idling, then as soon as I press in the clutch the noise goes away and everything sounds fine. Any idea on how much it'd cost to replace this input bearing and where I could source one from?
  12. Forgot to mention, another annoying little thing is when the car is idling, it makes some kind of noise like a fan spinning, its quite audible. When you press the clutch in this noise completely goes away.... anyone know what that could be?

  14. How come it doesn't have the boost readings up the top left? It's replaced by a battery reading, is this out of a non turbo R32 maybe?
  15. The guy who sold the car had replaced the AFM before selling it, so I don't think thats the issue. Could be with yours, who knows.

  17. Hey everyone, Recently bought an R32 GTS-4 which I'm pretty happy with. It however has a few little issues I would really love to fix up to get it running 100%. These are: 1) Car won't pull hard all the way to redline, it boosts perfectly in the mid-range but over about 4500rpm the rate of acceleration is much slower than getting up to 4500. Was told this could be because the car is running really rich or something? Any ideas? I have a feeling it could be ignition related, coilpacks? 2) Car sometimes makes a backfire type noise when I put the pedal down about half way, and say rev to 3000, then quickly put the clutch in to change. Could this be because of the car running rich and having excess fuel there?? Not sure if this is a backfire or "missfire". 3) The car has some kind of heavy duty clutch, and when I put the pedal in really quickly it will sometimes stall. However if I put the pedal in more gradually, it won't. Sometimes it'll go down to 0rpm and everything will cut out then it'll come back on by itself, sometimes it'll just stall and Ihave to turn ignition on again. Would taking the car to a dyno tuner rectify my problems? Thanks EDIT - Forgot to mention, the car is pretty much stock apart from a Kakimoto 3" turbo back system. Still has stock air box, and boost etc.
