ok is it betleigh east or brighton? i punched up auto electrician into the vacc website and these puppies came up but i dont know which one ur refering to...

hehe yea ive made shure the terminals have correct contact. ive checked the fuse box and ive noticed that im missing one of the larger fuses "initiate" or sumthing, the 2nd from the left. is anyone else missing this? n also y wud a car just lie there dead? would it be because either the alternator or starter engine is dead? no ignition lights even come on when the battery is fully connected =\

hey guys... ive been absent from this forum for a bit coz ive been workin my ass off to save for and just returned from the states. anyways... theres a problem with my car, afta i got back from holidays my car wont start, the battery is fully charged and the engine check lights wont even come on... =( can anyone help me? or is willing to help? i know nohting about electricals. also if sumone knows of that auto electrician from bentleigh or brighton, can i please get their contacts. it would greatly appreciated. thanks guys, and have a wonderful new year!

thanks for the replies guys! this is the first time ive read the thread as ive been so busy with work n all. ill try my hand at some of the advices with a multimeter first to see if i can diagnose the problem tho i doubt it due to my very poor electrical skills. btw i had the battery changed the first time it went flat, 2nd and 3rd time was when the battery was a brand new item. also if i could get the number for brighton auto electrics taht wud b nice cheers n thanks for all the help

hey peepz, does anyone know a good motor electricial in melb? preferably in the S.E region? sumting keep suckin my battery dry n its not hte lights, when i stick the key in the engine checks dont come on and im sick of having to pop the bonnet and disconnecting the terminals after i finish driving the car.... any help much appreciated cheers n have a good one guyz

think your going under the sevs system so i dont know abt that, but when i got my 32gtst registered all i needed was my RWC certificate and other documents to pay stamp duty. like sky031 said, first time registration needs the car present. the dude i had at vic roads was a funny guy, he came out with one of them extendable lights on a pole thingi to check my engine number but the batteries died on him so he goes "ah fk that, just dont kill anyone on the road k" lolz

ok edit. im lost......... yea i admit i was an idiot for mentioning the workshop name and i accept that i made that mistake, but my intentions were like inark said, to ask for OPPINIONS and SUGGESTIONS. in no way was i deliberatly bad mouthing the workshop and im sorry if i had offended anyone by doing so. now as to why this thread was reopened remains a mystery to me.... anyways ill just give a quick update on what has happened. UN-BIASED. car was towed from caulfield -> keysborough friday 16/09 $75 car was towed keysborugh -> ICE cheltenham 19/09. $71.50 gerald had a quick inspection under the bonnet and reports that it was the coolant line running into the turbo (aftermarket hks 2530). it was a shitty fuel line and had expanded due to the heat and probally leaked all the engine coolant, thats probally explains the water vapor coming from under the bonnet when driving. ice said its not really their fault bcoz that line was originally installed on the previous engine and turbo, but will change change it to heat resistant piping. thus far in terms of finance are concerned ive footed the bill for towing, no questions asked. but with the engine ice have yet to get back to me. oppinions? and please stay on topic, no pottymouthing or else ill ask for this thread to be shut permanently regurds, nghia
