  1. Hey Everyone, My name is Nath, I think I did an introduction thread ages ago, I can't remember. Just letting you all know I have been looking for an R32 for a fair while now and have just purchased a maroon 1993 R32 GTS-t with the plates 'PANADL'. As some of you know, This was Jon's(aka sxygtst) R32, and was in Canberra until a few months ago, as he is now currently in Victoria. The car is still probably how most of you have known it, however the 19" chromies no longer remain, currently has R33 rims(as I'm looking at getting some gunmetal or s/c 17's or 18's) and the number plate will change as I am transferring the registration to ACT. Keep an eye out for me, and I'll give you a wave if I see any of you out on the road. I'll update you all on my progress with her, as I plan to do wheels etc fairly soon. I will also be out on Fridays at the Museum and will do my best to come down to the Jerra Pub on Tuesdays to meet some fellow skyline drivers. Thanks to Jon for all his help and I hope to meet you all soon, Nathan
  2. haha yeah, its aight, but you can see why im so excited about getting a skyline lol
  3. mmm yeah im a big fan of the shadow chrome, have some s/c rims on my *cough* excel *cough* now and they look sweet and suit any colour car i reckon
  4. lol thanks Gus, Ill have a look at those brands, yeah i dunno bout style or colour yet, hmm lots of research to do. I do agree a polished silver or like a gunmetal grey(shadow chome) style will look awesome as well.
  5. Yeah, it's gonna be sweet! Umm yeah i heard there was a few more ppl going for it other than me and that you were showing interest. Will be glad to get it back into Canberra
  6. Umm I wanna get the wheels and stereo sorted out first, most of the performance mods have already been done for me:) Maybe aftermarket computer and bigger turbo down the track, but happy with the amount of power at the moment
  7. aah well good luck Beau, hope it all goes well for ya.
  8. Yeah I got Jon's R32 but didn't want the 19" chromies. So it's got r33 rims on at the moment til I decide what sorta rims I want on there. Prolly like an 18" bronze or gold rim.
  9. lol Hey Beau, I'll try to give you two rides when you need them Yeah, I'm so excited bout the new car, been wanting it for so long. Can't wait til It gets back to Canberra to cruise around etc
  10. Lol thanx Gus, Im Nath obviously. I think i did an introduction thread like ages ago but have just been reading rather than posting but hope to meet you guys soon when I get the '32

  15. R34 Nissan Skyline - Ryco Z442 As far as I am aware, the R34's have a different oil filter than the R32 and R33's. Go to www.rycofilters.com.au and there's a full listing on there. Nath
  16. Hey guys and girls, I haven't posted for a while but am down to the last stages, about to buy a Skyline(More specifically R32 GTS-t or GTS-4) from either Victoria or NSW. Basically, I am about to buy a car but just wanted to suss out what I needed to do to get it rego'ed in ACT. I went to Dickson Motor Registry and the lady I spoke to said I needed a engineers certificate for all modifications done to the car(No matter what it was eg wheels etc), A road-worthy certificate and also proof of ownership. Is this correct as I haven't seen many other people post on here about engineering , except for those cases where major modifications were involved. My main questions are: 1. How did you guys go about changing rego over from another state to ACT? 2. What mods it had when you bought it and did you need to get them engineered before rego would be passed? 3. Also for those who have their vehicles engineered, How much was it, what mods were engineered and where did you take it to get engineered? Thanks in advance, Nath
