  1. input bearings can sound like that when they are on the way out. Doesn't happen in 4th because there is bugger all load on the input/mainshaft compared to other gears
  2. Yeah only just got over it sleep wise. was a really good day
  3. Thanks lachy. Such a big weekend
  4. Thanks Trev. Jade's moved it under the new gazebo area so hopefully it will be all good
  5. Bunnings stuff last me a year before having to recoat. That was a year of heavy traffic though as I was working in there everyday. The more industrial stuff lasts a bit longer but it also costs more
  6. Welcome to the shire of Harvey Trev. Im still waiting for my shed and patio to get inspected after all these years

  13. It was on the 9-11th this year. The dates I've found at the moment are 15th to 17th but I think its still up in the air. 3 extra days won't kill me though I reckon
  14. Boss is in today, i'll get her onto it. Need to extend our stay there as Auto Salon is on the 15,16,17th and we were due to come home 13th
  15. afternoon ladies
  16. Yeah run all the wiring to where you want everything, then the sparky comes and finishes it off. I ran them from my house fuse box all the way down to the shed, ran the cable through the orange conduit 600mm underground. It now runs under concrete. Was quite a bit of digging but it saved me a lot
  17. Get a couple of quotes for wiring, offer the sparky to dig the trench and lay cable down. Also offer to TA for them, pre-run the cable in the shed, anything to make their time at yours less. Get at least 2x 15amp power points put in just in case you want to get a welder and some hoists run 15amp. Get double fluros for light, I have 2x in each bay lights up like a mofo. I also have 6x double 10amp points, 2x 15amp 1 of which is hanging from the ceiling I did all the pre-wiring and trench digging for my sparky made it a lot less painful on the bill
  18. Time to get out of there hey? When are you available to? I have started doing half Saturdays winding down to cut out working weekends if that's easier for your roster?
  19. very boring at the moment
  20. I had to take it home the other day to make room for the new hoist
  21. That's the one. Story goes, purchased engine for a Delica (Customer cooked it, looked around WA with my usual wreckers I deal with), google searched they popped up, spoke over the phone a couple of times talking about it told me he had one there, no dramas purchased 28th November. Told me 2-4 weeks, yep ok. Week before xmas rung up asking about it, courier had it. No news over the xmas break which was understandable. Called back first week back after new years, same courier excuse. Then from then on it was excuse after excuse about courier having it, then had to change courier as they were giving them grief. After ringing around the couriers over there turned out no one had anything. questioned him about it and he came out and said he hadn't sent it. Customer got upset we made the decision to recondition his engine, talked to BMI about a refund yep no worries wait for office girl to get in. Turns out she mustn't ever be in with the excuses I get now. Am going through magistrates court as I am also a small business and can't do the usual stuff and WA laws are different than QLD apparently.
  22. Hi Guys, This is a long shot, but I am getting royally farked around by Jason @ Brisbane Motor Imports. Purchased an engine off him November last year, failed to deliver on the engine and now won't refund me my 4k. Am going through the courts now to get it back but he is mucking them around also. What I am chasing is anyone with any information on Jason and his shop so I can venture over and pay him a surprise visit, even at his home. Would love to gearbox his doorstep but I'm afraid he will rip me off with that before I can lift it to throw. Cheers
  23. Cigweld Transmig 200i. Awesome bit of gear, can take 5 and 15kg spools. Have had mine for 2 years now and goes great with everything we use it for
