  1. GCG list replacement parts for the other gates but not the Progate, maybe they havent updated the website.
  2. Throwout bearing might be the same as a Datsun 200b, the last one i did had a 200b bearing. Take it to a bearing wholesaler and match it up Or ring Otomoto as they are an OS distributor
  3. Yeah just read that. Have you called turbosmart direct?
  4. Nick, long shot but possibly call Dick's cv's. Really old guy from mandurah that drives around, visits Bunbury every 2nd tues, he might head your way every now and then and may be able to help
  5. Pilot bush should be available from any decent parts store, they are common. What brand twin is it?
  6. Just rebuild yours to make it stronger. Less mucking around that way
  7. Nick/deceive is using them on his setup. Not sure if they came with his full race or not though. Perhaps ask Grant at Per4manz or Allstar
  8. they are a tighter fit compared to the nylon ones. Havent tested mine out in a car yet so can't comment on how they go everyday use. GKTECH are making these now for the 33 boxes, which might be the same size bush as your GTR box?
  9. Was there anything on the magnet when you changed the oil?
  10. yeah you could use the guts out of his yours and into his, and you could swap the bellhousings over. Again, if you aren't mechanically minded and will be paying someone to do the job for you, the cost of the exercise will blow out to more than the price of a 25 box
  11. More odd compared to the normal requests you receive?
  12. JPC are in Malaga now Ross
  13. 26 boxes are essentially RB25 boxes dolled up into 4wd format. To change one back to RWD you need to find yourself a RWD mainshaft, extension housing, speedo setup, i'd probably throw a bearing and synchro kit through it aswell. Including labour you'd be looking at around 2k mark plus. I'd get a 25 box personally, or you could get a 300zx box or one of the big pathfinder boxes over there.
  14. As Richard has mentioned, best way is with a press. The little 12t unit i have didnt budge any but the 40t gets them easily, they are in there fairly tight. And they can be tight to get back in also. If you are going to be taking the entire hub off, and you unbolt it from the wishbone setup. Just watch the bearings where it connects to the wishbone. It might pay to replace them at the same time if you havent done already, parts for both those sides should set you back around $50, don't go to nissan though as the seals cost $98 i purchased mine through the local bearing shop
  15. Like a transmission pan Trev, put the edge of the pan on the side of a bench and tap the holes down so they are below flush of flange. Then glue. And when you tighten the bolts, the holes will raise a bit
  16. Go to a workshop and ask to chuck in their waste drum
  17. Would you freight the tail lights to WA?
  18. Don't mind if you do Dan
  19. Looking real good, the white rims suit the paint well. How did you go chasing up good condition pillar garnishes?
  20. Get a tub of it, and with a long screwdriver dab it in there. I've had a box come in with a squeak where the kid used the spray stuff and covered the pressure plate in the shit so just be careful
  21. I don't think PAR like using PAR gearsets As above, go OS GIKEN As for differences between straight cut and helical. Straight cut is stronger, but noisy. Whereas helical is like a standard gearset
