  1. You can get a thicker shim, but it is just a bandaid fix. As the others have said get a mechanical lsd of the sort
  2. Or grab a KAAZ centre for it, they are making them for commodores and falcons now
  3. Wow that stuff looks awesome
  4. Shouldn't do, no need to plug the lines in the rack though just pull out the solenoid/lines running to the back and plumb the front lines into a cooler. I had this setup in my 32 and had no problems
  5. Do some visual checks. Check out the master/slave cylinder for leaks, stick your head under the dash for a broken pedal box, check the condition of the oil. If those are all fine, pull the box out and check the condition of the clutch, check teh condition of teh clutch fork and pivot point. If they are fine box may be fingered
  6. Also, if you find one, check to see if your half shaft splines go into there. I have a feeling the GTR's are thicker
  7. Should do, 32 GTR and GTS-t centres are interchangable. Will need backlash resetting/checked though as the centres may have slightly different lengths you never know
  8. It could possibly be a sticky starter motor, give her a smack with a hammer or something and see if it changes it.
  9. see if you can find a 2nd hand GTR rear unit out of a 33. Swap the centres over, pretty sure the 33 gtr's have a mechanical rear
  10. Yep bolts straight in. With some modification to the subframe, half shafts, mounting points of course
  11. Was your aunt's name Flow by any chance? She might have chucked her tanga down there
  12. Give them a ring and clarify it, would be the easiest way and you get a straight answer
  13. I have a 32 sedan wreck in the backyard i'm scabbing bits out of for my build, i'll check that strap for you if you want
  14. I pilfer the shops like what Risking mentioned. I go to a place called marindi fabrication, local stainless fabricator, is awesome to deal with and sometimes throws in pieces for next to nothing
  15. *little voice in your head* do it chris, you know you want to
  16. I also go by this, clutch companys don't give warranty out to something that looks like its been abused. And going by the sound of yours having heat marks, i wouldn't hold my breathe they'll give you another one.
  17. The winter part use, is that for Australia or the US? As our winters differ to the US's, which is why they may experience those problems
  18. Dry sump it, get a sump made that will help you lower the engine down enough to close the bonnet. Expensive thing to do for a daily but it will look the goods
  19. Sounds like a really good idea, in the process of rebuilding my 32 from the ground up and will be trying out a few things along the way. I also have experience having to deal with the "car stuff" working at teh local auto one and being a mechanic i get to see a few things
  20. Bugger that is a frickin pain. I've gotten into the habit now of comparing pressure plate and clutch plate sizes when replacing them. Obviously clutch plates will be different thicknesses but it's easier to pick up the differences when they are side by side.
  21. Yeah its been sitting there way too long, missus is starting to push me a bit more which will help. Bart had a 26 sitting down here, he might be able to help out with that bracket
  22. Sounds like the clutch is still in good condition. The bite point should be an inch or so from the top of pedal travel. Yours is fine by the sounds of it though
