  1. I pulled the harness out of the back and checked it all out and it is slightly different, i'll check out that tutorial. I'm not really auto electrically advanced i have been known to let the smoke out of the wires. Driveline on the other hand i know
  2. I am trying to find a gtst wiring version. I have a early 32 but want to fit a late model 260 speedo
  3. Yeah you can unplug it, i think it's a temp sensor for teh aircon but don't quote me on that
  4. That is a very clean example i like. Love those brakes and rims

  6. Well yes they are 2 piece, but they are connected in the middle, he says he has unbolted it from the diff and is trying the get the shaft out of the box. Hasn't mentioned he has taken it apart, centre bearing is bolted to both sides of the tailshaft and is bolted up to the floor of the car. Maybe he has is trying to take it out as 1 unit and has forgotten to unbolt it from the floor
  7. Have you unbolted the centre bearing form the body of the car?
  8. I have a koyo racing 3core unit here if you get stuck, is the same size as a standard radiator. I won't be needing it as i want to go a PWR or Koyo ali unit
  9. Making some very slow progress on mine still, picked up a spare 4 door for parts yesterday, primarily for the interior plastic.
  10. Locks only stop the honest thiefs. Seems to be alot of car thefts lately
  11. It's shown in the pictures, it's amazing how quickly this has progressed and the effort/quality which the boys have put into it. Can't wait to see this thing in action
  12. Yeah you could do that, if you see yourself doing a few clutches at work i would nivest in a proper puller for the application
  13. Should be fine, the 20det,25det and 30 boxes all have the same size spline on the input shafts. Before installing it all just check the clutch plate on the input shaft of the box make sure it clears. Don't forget to change teh spiggot bush while everything is out
  14. That is awesome!! Happy birthday for yesterday aswell
  15. There is a bright blue one that frequents the forrest highway from perth 260km south to bunbury. Sticks out like dogs balls
  16. Should be the same bearing hopefully http://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=17821&cat=375&page=1
  17. I hope it isn't. I'll rip one out of my spare rear end i have in the garage and take it into work to confirm measurements once the new bearings get in. Thanks for the headlight info aswell heller44
  18. NJ246KIT is the number he quoted me, i won't know 100% til they get down here. But he assured me they were for a 32 and he had one in his hand describing it to me. My diff seals came in so now i just have to get a couple sets of bearings and i can rebuild them Those were trade prices aswell bubba
  19. I think i may have to search for those numbers as i want to get a gtr grill instead of teh letterbox i have now. Just found rear wheels bearings for 100beans each!! CBC bearings in perth have them in stock
  20. I think gtr headlights have the bracket built into them, wouldn't be too hard to jig something up.
  21. Are they 25 covers? Also, how is your grill held in? I'm looking at one now on rhd and am unsure how it bolts on
  22. looks like it belongs in there, and those rims look sexy!
  23. haha i still get to play at home, i have talked her into letting me get a hoist Jonno34: I'm not sure if stanley do, but they are still made in the sidchrome factory so are nearly just as good. The stanley range are "2nds" if you will, it just didnt meet the grade of sidchrome
  24. +1 for this, although i really do need to talk the missus into letting me get the top half of my snap on tool box. She just doesnt understand.
  25. So you were running a 2wd motor with a 4wd box behind it? Yes a 2wd box will fit but you will need the tailshaft to suit and possibly the mounts for it. Are the diffs in the gts4's the same flange as the standard rwd ones?
